BAS Metal Stainless Steel Charcoal Grill Folding Portable Kebab Shish Barbecue BBQ Outdoor Cooking Camping

I bought this directly from the manufacturer so that I could get the BBQ base, cooking grate, and a cover all together, a combination I don't see listed on this site. The stainless is good quality steel (304-stainless), but a touch on the thin side (16-gauge). During shipping two of the four feet were bent slightly which made inserting the legs (which are aluminum btw) a bit of a challenge, but once I straightened it out everything fit fine. The BBQ design is fantastic, with great ventilation and the charcoal base lifts out easily to dump the ash (once it's totally cooled of course), though there's no drip tray to catch grease which will eventually work it's way out and drip down the legs if it doesn't burn up in the coals. Consequently, you probably won't want to use it directly over a deck without a mat or cardboard or something underneath. The size is perfect for my needs and it cooks great too. I worry about about how sturdy it is when on the aluminum legs since it wobbles a bit when I scrape the cooking grate though. If welded on legs were a thicker gauge of steel and an inch or two longer it would be substantially sturdier I believe. The charcoal tray is the only component that's not stainless, which is no big deal, but it would have been nicer if they'd blued or painted it with heatproof paint. Other than that it's kebab perfection... and great for cooking steaks, burgers, chicken, etc. too. With longer legs and a drip tray it would be perfect.

Really happy with the grill. Pleased that it seems to be made with very good quality material and good skills. Very sturdy. The only gripe I have is the panel which needs to be removed to empty the ashes (sits at the bottom of the grill to create space between coal and bottom of grill) is a very very tight fit...and its always a bit of struggle to get it out.Once I get a few more friends I will upgrade to the 13.5x24 version.
