I don’t usually leave reviews, but this pump earned it. I bought the CWKJ 400GPH fountain pump for a small backyard water feature I was building from scratch. I wasn’t expecting much for the price, but this little workhorse blew me away. Setup was simple—plug-and-play right out of the box. It comes with a few different nozzles, which was great for getting just the right water effect I wanted. The suction cups hold tight, even in a deep ceramic bowl, and the pump stays perfectly in place without vibrating or shifting. What stood out most was how quiet it is. Once submerged, it’s virtually silent. You hear the water flowing, not the pump working—exactly how it should be. I’ve run it daily for several hours at a time, and it hasn’t overheated, clogged, or lost power. The flow rate adjustment knob is a nice touch. I turned it down slightly to keep the water from splashing outside the basin, and it responded instantly. The included power cord is long enough to reach a nearby outlet without using an extension. Only thing to be aware of: if you’re using tubing or trying to lift water up more than 5–6 feet, you’ll start to lose pressure. But for low-to-mid fountains, aquariums, hydroponics, or garden features, it’s perfect. After a few weeks of use, no signs of wear. I clean the intake once a week just to keep debris out, but other than that, this pump requires almost no maintenance. Bottom line: It’s powerful, quiet, affordable, and does exactly what it promises. If I ever build another fountain or need a second unit, I’ll be buying this same one again. Highly recommend.

So far it's working well. Sounds a little louder than the last one I had. But that's not a big problem. It's bigger than I expected it to be.

This is a more powerful unit than we had previously and upgraded our fountain significantly. Works steadily and quietly. So far, very pleased.

Great pump for a smaller to medium size fountain! I like that the pressure/power is adjustable, so this pump is a good choice for a variety of applications. Very easy to clean and incredibly durable. I live in Minnesota where the winters are freezing cold and, with the use of a bird bath heater, I keep the fountain pump running year round! I have purchased this pump more than once (every couple of years or so I replace it because nothing lasts forever) and I have never had a problem with leakage or pump failure. Comes with extra accessories (four different sized nozzles) for tube attachment. And have I mentioned the price? A Bargain for great quality! Highly recommended!

Great little pump for my water fountain. Very easy and I was super grateful that it came with multiple hose fittings.

Check your level of power that you need, I didn’t and ended up with a too powerful pump which I couldn’t use. The pump works great though!

I use this for water changes for a 55 gallon tank. The bucket of water has to go on the ground and I didn't want to pour the bucket into the tank and risk spilling it. This works great. I paired this with a "Power Maintained Foot Switch" from harbor freight and that gave me a longer cable and the ability to easily turn the pump off and on by stepping on the pedal. Game changer.

Worked well for two summers but now water is barely coming out one inch up from the pump and it makes a rattle noise. I opened it to clean it just in case but it did not help.
