As far as wraps go, this is a very good one. It is a not too long, not too short length that allows me to drape over my shoulders, cross over my chest and flip over the opposite shoulder with a nice tail. The cashmere is soft. It is knitted, but with a fine weave. I would call it medium weight so it is not hot, but keeps my shoulders warm on cool mornings. It would be perfect for travel as it folds nicely, doesn't wrinkle and would slip into most purses without taking up too much room. I've have the red one for over a year and have had only minor pilling, hardly any at all.It's a little decadent, but on cool nights, I sleep in it over my pj's. It keeps my neck nice and warm without the need to adding so much weight from extra blankets. The same applies for too cool hotel rooms while on the road.

Ordered this wrap while holding my breath. And when it arrived few days later, I exhaled: it's what I hoped for: soft, good weight- can be folded over length-wise for extra warmth. Wonderful piece to travel with, take to restaurant, looks beautiful with an evening dress...one happy girl here. Thank you!

As a 71 yr old man I long ago learned the dangers of picking clothing for a woman, especially one I didn't know that well. I hit a home run with this cashmere wrap that I bought for my new future daughter in law. It arrived promptly and is of the highest quality and super soft. It was my first Christmas gift to her and she loved it.

I ordered this in "cream," but what I got was between beige and light brown. The color choices in the listing don't even show this shade. But it's very nice quality...knitted with very fine yarn. It would give some actual warmth while still looking elegant and refined. I would order this in another color.
