not as easy as it looks. for those pkgs that have the additional foil piece, it hampers the end result. And, for old people with arthritis, it's nearly useless. I used it because it saved having my nails bleed (as I pop all my pills at once and put them in a monthly pill container.) But, the ones held up by that extra piece of aluminum foil end up falling on the floor, or in my lap ... so, I lose some pills along the way. And, I have to be careful to eliminate any aluminum foil circles, as I've twice choked on them by not realizing that they popped out with my pill and fell into the container and I swallowed them. I wrote to the company requesting a simpler solution, but they dismissed my complaint (as most other people find no problems ... or don't complain!)

I got this for my daughter Who is a med tech when she hurt her hand. in a nursing home you're popping out so many pills from medication cards this made it so much easier even after her hand healed.

This device is a good temporary solution but does struggle to get the pills out of the blisters at some points, also larger pills will not be able to be dispensed using this.

I bought to help with popping out Omeprazole tablets from their foil packets, which is painful with my arthritic hands. It was difficult to get the packets aligned in the tool, and even then it worked less than half the time. When it did work I usually had to pull up the handle to release the pill package and start aligning the next one. My spouse has the same painful issues with her hands and also tried it with no better results. It worked slightly better with larger pills but those aren't as hard to pop out by hand.

The arm that pushes the pill out through the foil backing is a little flexible, but it does a pretty good job.

Doesn't work! I bought it for my mother who is a nurse with arthritis in her hands. Popping meds out of the foil hurts her a lot so I thought this would help. She says it does nothing. I'm very disappointed.

Although the Aidapt Pill Puncher is very low priced, is delivered quickly and seems well made and strong. I have used it only once but have already decided that it will not meet my needs, even with more practice. (I am 75 with extensive arthritis and have taken basic painkillers for years.) It is hard to use (at first) and tends to break or crush some pills especially paracetamol, a popular pain killer. I have no doubt that, with more practice, it might become an aid but, initially at least, it seems to require much more strength, dexterity and mental concentration than popping pills by hand. Its tendency to crush paracetamol pills is irritating, to say the least.

Leider ist dieses Teil sein Geld nicht wert. Der Ausdrücker ist mit dem Ausdrücken völlig überfordert. Die Blisterpackungen geben den ausgedrückten Inhalt nicht frei, ganz gleich wie klein oder groß die Tabletten sind.Das ist kein empfehlenswertes Produkt. Für feinmotorisch eingeschränkte Menschen völlig ungeeignet, das Ding landet nach vielen missglückten Versuchen im Plastikabfall!
