great looking replacement screen, and awesome customer service
previously had an issue where I had ordered this and did not receive the tool kit that is advertised. Seller fixed this quickas I got an email and a package that contained the tool kit PLUS extras. For my troubles they sent me two cases, screen protectors, and a stylus. Now THAT is how you take care of the customer. Great job on fixing the situation guys!

Takes time to install, but works
Works well enough now that I got it installed. On occasion the touch screen will freak out a bit but I chalk that up to a not quite perfect removal/install process rather than any defect. It's intimidating the first time but if I ever had to do it again it would go MUCH faster. Some notes on installing:-It's much easier if you have some adhesive strips to use to hold the new screen on, I can't imagine trying to use the original bonding adhesive.-When removing, patience is key. Start at the top, work your way down. MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE THE 2 FRONT SOFT BUTTONS FROM THE INSIDE OF THE OLD SCREEN BEFORE TRYING TO PULL IT OFF ALL THE WAY. They aren't terrible to remove, just a touch of heat and an X-Acto knife did the trick. You can just pop them off the old glass. Do your best to line them up in the same position on the new one. My menu button LED is slightly off location but works fine.-The more evenly you heat, the less residue you will have to clean before putting the new glass on. Took me round 30 minutes to get all the smudges from leftover adhesive off the screen. You want to touch the display as little as possible. Unfortunately for me I had to do lots of cleaning since I wasn't as careful with the removal as I should have been.-Once you are able to get a tool inside at the top, use something like a thin plastic spatula (like you would use to spread spackle or something) and gently work your way down, heating as you go along.

Simple Install & Red
Love the red color, which apparently isn't available with my carrier. I had paid $130 + tax to have someone replace it for me. When I cracked the screen a week later, I thought I would try it myself. It was super simple. My wife had a small heat gun. I warmed up the glass, used one of the plastic lifting tools that came with the glass, and then put the new glass on. I had to be very careful to keep the glass clean before putting it on the phone. Definitely don't want to have finger prints and dust under the glass. It took me all of 5 minutes, tops. So, why did the guy at the repair shop make me wait two hours? Probably didn't want me to realize how easy it was. What a racket. I have read that, if the glass is really fractured, you can put tape on it before you start to take it off. Probably good advice.

Good for the price
**Only get this if you have OTHER, better tools to replace it than the ones it comes with!!**My friend fixed mine with his own tools and a better heat source to help with the adherence of the screen to the phone. I ended up buying two of these, the first replacement cracked (my fault, not the product). Even the price of 2 is better than paying for a new phone. Anyway, the screen works just fine, nothing wrong with the touch screen it works just like before. The only issues I have with it are 1) The screen has a couple little spots where the backlight shows through the red color if you are somewhere dark. Not anything serious, just a little annoying and shows the cheapness of the product. 2) Because it is not the original screen and parts have been moved,a few white specs have gotten up underneath the replacement screen. Once again, not that huge of a deal, I don't notice them most of the time. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who only has a cracked screen but otherwise the phone is fine.

Does not fit well, not easy to replace
This screen doesn't fit nearly as well as the original. As a replacement, you'd expect it to, but it's not even close. First of all, I had a hell of a hard time replacing it. It's much more difficult than advertised and the instructions included don't really help. With the replacement screen on, my home button sat funny, I would have to press it really hard to get to it because it was pretty much behind the screen. Wouldn't buy this, just spend the money and get your screen replaced by a professional.

Perfect replacement glass for S3
AT&T wanted me to pay them $199 to replace my phone with a refurb. I bought this replacement glass and the other items I needed to fix my phone for less than $8. It took about 10-15 minutes to remove the broken glass and replace it with this. It looks like new from the factory and works just fine. Plenty of YouTube videos to show you how to do it. 4 tips: 1) Have an assistant that can hold the hair-dryer while you remove the old glass. 2) Wear a pair of gloves so your hands don't get burnt. 3) The pampered-chef scraper is the perfect size for quickly lifting the broken glass out of the way. 4) Be careful of the touch-sensors at the bottom of the screen.

Looks like it came with the phone.
Perfect fit. I bought this to replace my cracked lens. I initially had white and thought that while I was replacing it, I may as well pick a color that had more pop. Well, this garnet had depth and the cover looked just as if I had purchased it that way. I would only suggest purchasing adhesive as this kit does not come with any and after you remove your old screen, the remnant adhesive may not be enough.
