Great item. This was a replacement for another one (different brand) that I bought about 10 years ago and was looking tired. This is modern, fits in nicely in our home and works really well. We could tell the difference right away.

Let me save you some time as this product has nearly 1,500 reviews!Having been a massage therapist, I am familiar with the benefits of essential oils and diffusers. I had always used some type of diffuser in my massage room and had tried many different brands. When researching one to purchase for my home, I came across the OliveTech and was immediately drawn to how beautiful it looks. I purchased this diffuser over 2 years ago, have used it on almost a daily basis and have had no problems whatsoever. I absolutely love it! Not only is it beautifully designed, the OliveTech diffuser works better than any other brand I have used in the past. My home has large open spaces with very high ceilings and the OliveTech is powerful enough to fill my home with the amazing scents of essential oils. The tank in this diffuser holds enough water to last for 8 hours on full steam mode! There is a great amount of mist output. Although I have found that the mist does add some moisture to the air, as one purchaser pointed out, this is not meant to be a humidifier! In response to “Lovely diffuser-definitely NOT a humidifier,” I agree that the title description of the product states, “cool mist humidifier.” However, I think you are mistaken when you state, “ …the description is deliberately misleading,” which led you to give this product one-star. It appears you overlooked that OliveTech supplied plenty of information following the title which clearly states this is meant to be an aroma essential oil diffuser. And it performs perfectly for its function!One of the selling points for me was the safety feature. The OliveTech manufacturer correctly states, “Gives you peace of mind when using the diffuser, as when it is detected that there is no more water or water runs out, the diffuser will automatically power off for safety insurance.” This feature works flawlessly! The auto shut-off function is perfect for anyone who, like me, forgets to turn things off when leaving the house! Because of this safety feature, I purposely run the diffuser when I leave my home. When I return, I know I will be walking into an atmosphere filled with the aroma of whichever essential oil I chose: lavender to relax, lemon or peppermint to energize, eucalyptus for cold relief, or pine for holiday spirit. Essentially, there are essential oils for anything and everything you are experiencing or want to experience! My advice is to do a little research and experiment with different oils, and you will find your favorites! I have received many compliments on both the beautiful design as well as how wonderful my home smells as a result of this OliveTech diffuser. I highly recommend this product for your home or office. It also makes the perfect gift!

I'm about to buy my 7th one of these. I only own one and recall purchasing to for family members so I believe family/friends walked off with the others.Be mindful of the quality of oils used. I purchased a low quality rose oil once and for first 15 min, smelled great, but then turned to a mildewy water smell. I bought the more expensive and concentrated rose oil and didn't have this problem so if you're oils scents don't last long, it could be quality of the oils.My mother's stopped working after a year, but she typically put 10-15 drops of oil in hers and I think it got clogged.I like to sleep in the dark. I think the rotating strip of lights are just thin enough to be soothing, yet not too bright. Other diffusers were way to bright for me to sleep, but not this one.I always run mine for the max time ( I think it's four hrs). I suffer from sinus issues/congestion so this diffuser is great.I love the contoured shape too, gives a more elegant look. It is plastic, not wood. I wouldn't recommend placing this diffuser on any wood surface. There's a nice mist stream that comes out and may slightly dampen surrounding surface.Highly recommend!

I shopped around looking at expensive and inexpensive diffusers and reading many reviews. I am 100% satisfied and with OliveTech and this great diffuser! Price is reasonable, the diffuser is pleasant to look at, easy to use and it works perfectly. The diffuser has 5 settings from low to high, the water reservoir holds a very good amount of water which will last a long time, and the color changing light is not only soothing to look at, but acts as the perfect nightlight. Initially, I bought the light brown diffuser for our bedroom which makes going to sleep wonderful with the surrounding fragrance of lavender. We have a two story house and I loved this diffuser so much, that I purchased a second one for our family room where we spend a lot of time. Pros: aesthetically pleasing, affordable, easy to use, works perfectly. I especially love the feature that it will turn itself off when it has run out of water. Cons: absolutely none! I am a real customer and I am not being paid to write this review. I just love this diffuser so much, that I wanted to help others with their buying decision! Enjoy!!

There are a lot of diffusers out there to choose from. I wanted one that was attractive, put out a lot of mist, was easy to open and add water and oil and works non stop! These units fill all of those requirements. I'm very pleased with them and recommend them highly.Look: Initially, I was put off by them being plastic and not wood, but the feedback was good so I decided to take a chance. I bought both colors, light and dark. These are Beautiful units! I love the shape and style! They look like real wood and are a marvelous addition to any room decor.Function: They work perfectly right out of the box. They have a large reservoir and run for hours. The lid/cover is all one piece and just lifts off easily. They have 2 different mist output settings, plus timers for 1,3 & 6 Hours or just 'on'. The lights are also a fun addition to a darkened room. The top can be swiveled to direct the flow of mist. I have been using them both non stop since I received them with no problems what so ever.
