Wood Block with Wooden Beater, Single Tone, Percussion Rhythm Block

I trawled the Internet to find something with the right sound to back my piano playing of Elton John's 'Song For Guy'. This device had a video of it being played and it sounded just right. And it was! Well made and a proper musical instrument, not just a toy.

This is my boy's favourite music instrument. He really enjoy using it. Good packaging. Highly recommended

We used this with an amateur orchestra of about 40 players and it could be heard clearly. Really good

I was expecting a wood block you could play with music, but it does not project sound from it well, I'll have to now buy a proper woodblock! Not recommended.

This block makes a pleasant, slightly hollow knocking sound when hit with the beater and enjoyed by a small child, beating in time to music and practicing rhythms. It has a nice solid feel to the construction and would be best played with a number of other instruments.

As a primary school teacher I've used this A-star tulip block beater loads of times during music lessons.It inspires creativit, independent thinking and musicality in children which can only be a brilliant thing.I love that It is wooden and made from natural materials and just adore the sound it makes.I really love this item and so do the children so I give It 5 Stars and highly recommend it.

Good quality basic musical instrument for any age of child. It’s quite large, easy to hold and use, and makes a loud and pleasant noise when played. It’s a hollow percussion sound, and you play it by beating the red “tulip” piece. The wooden beater is supplied and both the beater and main part of the instrument feel well made.

What you receive is what you see, the Wooden construction with the red sound block on one end and you also receive the BeaterIts easy to hold, and a great way to introduce a sound to a young music lesson, It similar I guess to the old triangle we had at school.Its not going to be the instrument that a music class will be fighting to use but It does allow someone to follow the musical beat etc.
