We have a Napoleon wood stove as our primary source of heat. In the winter it is in use 24/7. The motor that came with it was German made and ran for years. This last season it was running rough and eventually seized up. The new one is made in China and is started to sound rough already. It hasn't been through a complete season yet! Also the steel armature of the German motor is twice as thick as the Chinese motor. The Chinese motor is running, but for how much longer who knows. It has helped us get through this winter because the stove puts out a lot more heat with a blower.

I am so disappointed. I bought the exact same part from this company in 2009 and just now had to replace it do to loud squeaking. The new part works and spins freely but has a loud rattling sound. When I looked at it closely while it was mounted on my stove (napoleon 1401) I noticed it didn’t rattle below a fairly low rpm (while powering down) but was loud at the normal (even slow) speed. Poor manufacturing quality control.

Ordered this fireplace blower a few years ago to attach to a wood burning stove. It has worked wonderfully every winter when stove is in use. Most time during winter we run the fan day in and day out with no breaks and have never had a problem with it. It blows the heat out further into our house to where the furnace doesn't kick on as much. Our electric bill is almost a $100.00 less than before we bought it. We are very happy with this product and will buy again from this vendor.

I brought this item as a back-up. Because one of the two blower went bad about a couple of years ago.I know it will do an excellent job. The first replacement blower is working nice and quiet.
