MEOWFIA Cat Cave – Premium Felt Cat Bed for Indoor Cats, Handmade 100% Merino Wool (Large, Black Aqua)

This cat cave! I bought this a couple years ago as a space for shelter for my cat when guests would come. He is pretty social but gets overwhelmed sometimes, so I wanted something where he could feel like he was hanging with the crew, but still have his personal safe space. In our apartment, there just aren’t a lot of places for a cat to hide. Back when we had visitors, before the pandemic, people would always stare with wonderment and compliment this homey piece off to the side of the couch on the floor/ rug. I always felt cool having it around, but it was once in a blue moon that my cat would actually go in it. Until... I put it on our comfiest chair! Duh. So I really do love this cat cave but a heads up-though this offers warmth, shelter, and all around coziness, it does not offer much in the support of padding on the bottom. Once we put it on our comfy chair, it was like our cat rediscovered it for the first time all over again, but it was better this round. Now, this is his safe haven! For the last three weeks, ever since we put it on the chair, he sleeps in it ALL day and sometimes even at night (otherwise he’s on the human bed). For best results, just make sure to pair with a comfy padded bottom and then all bases are covered! After a couple years now, the cave is a little slouchy, but our cat is a bit brawny, and stretched it out that way. I honestly think he prefers it like that. Also your cat has soft hair instead of fur like ours (I think he has some Himalayan Forest Cat in him), you’ll find that hair does coat and ball up inside and a bit outside. I may try and clean with the hose vacuum soon, but I think our cat likes his scent in his home to that degree. I’ve never seen him so relaxed and peaceful in a space. Bonus points for being so organic and actually an aesthetic pleasure to look at! Yay. Would buy as a gift for any cat lover. Personally I think the teal and blue is the prettiest. Just cannot say this part enough: Placing on surface is a game changer for use! —Bed, padded chair, couch, thick rug.... etc. Wish I had realized earlier!

Just got this today and my cats love it! Nice and sturdy, easy to put together with the zipper. My biggest cat can sit on top and still be supported. And they are now scratching this instead of my couch. Worth.

Absolutely love this. The color is great and the size is amazing. My cat loves to spend time in there and take naps and run in and out of it. The material is amazing and it looks great in my house.

My cat loves it. Spends a lot of time in it & it makes her feel safe & secure. I just adopted her in December & she was a traumatized senior cat. She really enjoys being in it.

This cat cave is fantastic! Both my cats are using it so I just ordered another one so they each have their own! I put some of my clothing in it and one cat got in right away and the other cat got in it the next day! I took the clothing out now and added a small fleece blanket to the bottom! I did not have any issues with getting the cat cave in the correct shape. Cats are happy and so am I. Great product!

My guy i is 14 pounds and a pretty big- long and tall boy he fits with room to spare .I did get the larger size .He got in to it with in minutes of putting it down. Even my little girl has slept in it and she always sleeps on the highest perch I was very surprised .she is black and i invisible when she gets in .I purchased the teal one.it’s beautiful and well made . ..

Was not sure exactly what to expect after reading some negative reviews on this and other simular products, but was pleasantly surprised! Our black cat Salem is about 9 months old and around 12lb, so I bought the large size which is a purr-fect fit! It took him a while to crawl all the way inside, but putting some of his favorite treats inside finally did the trick! While I was unwrapping it, I found a free wool ball in the box for the cat to play with. Salem was instantly afraid of the ball!lol It must have had an odor that only he could smell. Not sure what animal type of wool is used in Napal? Unfortunetly this also made him a little apprehensive about the cat cave. He did a lot of smelling and investigating … eventually he realized that neither the ball or cat cave could do him any harm. The cat cave (bed) came shipped in a cardboard box, was wrapped in plastic, the bed was folded in half and tied with a string. It sprung up into to a round shape immediately after removing the string and has kept its form. It is very thick wool and has very pretty blue stripes on dark gray. My daughter has done felting of sculptured animal, so I realize how time consuming this needle felting can be. Well worth the price for a quality artistic cat abode made by Napal women! Cat approved!! Salem gives it a10 out of 10 paws rating 😻 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾 … I give it 5 out of 5 stars! Psst … Salem loves the ball now and carries it around. I found a coupon in the box for ordering the balls so I am going to order him some more.

I love this quirky cat cave and so do my two kittens. They use it as a hidy-hole, a scratch post or chase the pointy bit around. When it is too hot, they collapse it and simply sleep on top. Since I put it on my bed at night, I've regained control of my pillow! Thank you Meowfia for such a unique design!

Cat cave is wonderful the cats love it

Beautifully made first of all but most importantly my cat Harry absolutely loves it,i opened it threw a treat inside and he didn't come out for 2 hours,it felt wonderful watching him getting straight in there.More than money well spent thank you
