pretty challenging
every chapter has a good tutorial and example questions. My daughter has been trying to learn the turorial by herself and do the practice questions after that. It has been a bit challenging but my daughter enjoys it. I recommend this book.

Goes through a lot of concepts and lessons. If you haven't done math in a while, you may learn from this book too.
This is a great workbook full of challenging problems. There are number tricks, geometry, pattern recognition, algebra, etc... This is good for middle schoolers and perhaps even high school for the most difficult problems. There were some questions I couldn't solve, like a lot of the "Evaluate [array of fractions]." Hopefully your students are smarter than me, hahaha. It may take students some time to get through the book, and that's okay. It covers a lot of material.

Good series of books for kids from upper elementary grades
I recommend this book for all kids who like challenging math problems in 5th & 6th grade. They will get a few wrong and struggle and when they figure out the solution & the methodology, they would have learnt the thinking & math skills at a higher level than whatever is taught in school.

Perfect book for math practice.
This book covers most of the topics for sixth grade students. Definitely challenging for fifth graders. There are so many examples of how to solve the problems and there are answers to all the questions that are very clearly explained at the end of the book. Very good book to test the knowledge of the student.
