I live in Los Angeles and after having it for 2 summers I am ready to buy a different sunshade. The harsh summers here make the shade very soft which doesn’t allow it to stay taut, therefore it caves in and just slips from the sun visors flat onto the dashboard. As it is lying there it does offer some protection however…the shade will cover the infotainment system so it doesn’t become burning hot. It’s not completely useless, no. If the manufacturer increased the size to 1.5 inches all around, I do believe it would fix the problem.

I was about to buy a custom fit WeatherTech sunshade, but, upon checking out I was turned away by the $90 (slow shipped) price for a custom fit sun shade for my 2019 Tesla 3. I had owned a weather tech sunshade for a different vehicle in the past and they are great products but they need to start getting more competitive with their ridiculous price gouging. I decided to give this product a try as it was $36 shipped, less than half of WeatherTech.Anyway, beyond my WeatherTech rant, this item arrived well packaged, same sort of heavy duty sun blocking material as the big brand, it is a near perfect fit. I read reviews that the Velcro band for storing it gets snagged on headliner fabric, yea that could happen, I rolled it inside out and don't use it, may as well cut it off. This does not come with any suction cups for securing it to the window. I actually prefer it doesn't as I don't want the cup prints all over the glass, and it fits it place pretty well with use of visors. Overall, this is exactly the high quality of sun shade I was looking for and I feel like the price is a steal compared to the competition.(uploaded picture for reference, my car currently has ZERO window tint which is why so much light is in car with the sun shade in place)

Easy to set in place and can be quickly removed before driving (I just keep it in the passengers seat if I’m driving alone). Rolls up nicely with a velcro strap when not needed, such as during the winter. When combined with a heat shield for the glass roof, it keeps the car cool even on hot, sunny days. My only complaint is that when placing it and removing it, it tends to sometimes knock into my rearview mirror, forcing me to readjust it before driving.

I first got a really really bad product! It was horrible - almost like someone used left over materials and stitched together. I told the vendor the same and they sent out a really good shade visor! It is awesome! Totally different from the first one sent to me. it fits my Tesla Model 3 perfectly. The vendor really corrected the mistake and I am super happy - just beware of this lack of product quality control. I think it may have been a real mistake that they corrected immediately.

The fitment of this sunshade is great. It's ability to deflect heat is every bit as good as other options. The reason for the 4 star rating is due to the fact that it is not necessarily foldable as the description states and picture shows. You technically can fold it, but without pre bent creases it make it difficult fold and rolling it up is the easiest option. Once rolled it takes up more room than a folding sunshade. Overall I am happy with it. It is a nice quality sunshade that fits great at a price cheaper than some other options. I think this is the best option at the price point available on Amazon.
