I like this because it arrived alive even if slightly brownish. Obviously, because it is in the mail, it can't be wet. But, after some time in the tray being sprayed with drinking water, it is now very very green and lush. I bough this moss to try to heal my orchid that was dying from root rot (I thought those were the normal plant roots). I cut everything dead off and left only one somewhat alive-ish tentacle, then I placed the orchid on the moss, and sprayed it a bit. Now, the orchid is extremely happy, grown 7 new healthy tentacles and is grabbing the wet green moss for dear life. So, this moss works, not only it arrived alive, but it sprang to green and it saved and nourished my orchid.

Nearly all of it was sickly looking, beige nearly. Not bright green. All of it died even though I had many different habitats with grow lights and different moisture levels. NONE OF IT prospered. All died fairly quickly. Not cool, especially with price paid. I hate writing bad reviews, but I have a green thumb, and worked to maximize its chance at success with none to be found. So bad review is warranted, imo.

This comes in an Amazon bag wrapped with paper and in between 2 cardboards. At first I was afraid when unwrapping it because the paper was almost dry however when I saw the moss i was super happy because it was nice and super green. Absolutely no brown spots! The brown in the picture is dirt. The moss sheet was also very nice and big it was worth the price for such a beautiful buy! Definitely recommend!

The good, there's LOTS of it, more then I expected. The not so good, it's all brown. Im hoping it'll green up, but so far, brown

Received nice healthy fern moss. Verified it was harvested naturally because mine did have a small amount of debris, but was pretty clean over all and only took a dunk and rinse to separate out the unwanted leaves and twigs. The listing says pesticide free. I dropped in some isopods to verify and so far they seem okay. Overall I’m happy. It’s wild moss so consistency will probably vary, but if you need moss quick this is a good option.

Beautiful very large sheet of super clean living moss. I left it in a sunny window for 4 days and found zero pests. Package was just moist enough to keep it alive but not wet or messy. Compared to what I have paid at online reptile and/or plant stores this was an amazing value. Will be buying more. UPDATE 5/24/23 Received third shipment of moss and it's still excellent. Hopefully seller sees this. Want to let seller know the new packaging is performing perfectly and is much better than the original. Was delivered late in the afternoon on a sunny hot day still in perfect condition. My giant millipedes are going insane for this stuff....they love it.

I needed live moss to create a Kokedama bonsai ball. I’m really happy I order this one. It’s perfect! It arrived the next day which was fantastic! It was super moist in a sealed plastic bag, green and healthy. No insects. Just pure clean healthy green moss and I made my first Kokedama ball! It was super easy to use as a sheet of moss and also easy to separate and use in chunks! Perfect! Thank you so much!

Received this on August 3rd of 24 and it was sealed in a clear plastic. There was no kind of moisture in there or any way for there to be moisture. Over 3/4 of it was already looking Brown and what still had some green that was looking like life to it I tried to save but was unsuccessful. Guess I should have known better than to order it during the hottest part of the summer. There's no telling how long it had been sitting on a shelf in a warehouse with no AC. Since I knew when it was coming I already had my starter trays with covers ready for the Moss to be put on them and as soon as it arrived immediately open the package and started putting it on the planting base and spraying it with fresh Rainwater and putting the top on to keep the humidity high. It's been almost 2 months now and there is not any of it that has survived. I have grown a lot of sheet moss in past years so, yes, I do understand and have knowledge of how to grow it.
