This starter was perfect. Seems to be almost an 0ME type replacement. Works like new. However, didn’t fix my problem. The reason it just spins and doesn’t start was because the fly wheel has an issue. If you don’t know if you need a starter or not, takeoff the houseing case that is behind the transmission lever (seephoto) turn the motor over and see if it will spin. If it spins but doesn’t start, you don’t need a starter, check out the fly wheel. However this product for the five minutes that I’ve used it, is exactly what it should be. Worked and fir perfectly

My daughter burned out the starter on our 125 cc Tao Cheetah ATV. Ordered this part. Removed burned out starter (3 bolts). Discovered that the starter uses a chain, so had to open the case on the reverse side of the engine.....after removing f/r shifter and foot pedal/rest. Pull chain onto the new starter and confirm alignment. Close the case, tighten the starter bolts, re-install f/r shifter, and re-install foot pedal. I'm not a mechanic, but was able to figure it out. The ATV started right up! Very happy.

Ahhhhh with no worries and service comes the Tao Tao 50cc. Starter works great unless you want it to engage and actually start your machine. Don’t worry you can hear it trying and when you hit the button she spins but boy does it not engage. After spending 5 hours of time I’m glad I spent 20 dollars on this to not work. Ironically I thought I was the issue. 50cc 4 wheeler do not purchase. Edit: I must say that within a day of leaving a review the company reached out and will be sending a replacement. I have to give them props for that as most do not care. Hopefully the replacement works better than the first one!

I use this product for a TaoTao B1 quad 110cc and it went right on easily I took the cover off to get to the chain for the starter and then slip the starter on but first I put the power cable under the starter then I installed the starter into the slot in the chain went right onto it was very easy started right up after I got it all back together took me about not even 20 minutes great product for the

Bought this for my son’s dirtbike, it came exactly as described and was a perfect fit. My son and husband were able to change the part out quickly and easily.

Installation was not the easiest but did finally get it on. Was difficult lining everything up. Made a significant difference on starting.

Perfect replacement for my boys taotao 125.. Starter definitely turns over faster than stock.. Had to replace the original starter because the oem blew out a brush. This left a just a clicking sound from the selonoid.. Replacement not too bad. Pull the 3 bolts from the starter, 4 bolts from stator cover and 2 hoots on the left foot peg.
