MINIRIG Mini Portable Rechargeable Bluetooth Speaker - 30 Hour Battery - Premium Stereo Sound - Red

This speaker just blew my mind. For its size, the sound quality cannot be beat. I listen to a lot of live Grateful Dead shows and EVERY note, instrument and vocal are on display with amazing crystal clarity. The bass is awesome, the highs and lows totally hit, and It will be my travel companion from now on.

I’ve owned the Minirig 2 for about four years now and I loved it.I decided that I wanted an even smaller version of it so I got the Minirig Mini.The sound quality and volume sounds amazing.I’m surprised at how loud it is.Unexpectedly this company sent me the gold color instead of the all black that I had asked for.I actually don’t mind because the color pairs well with the black but you know... I asked for all black.

I have been listening to different genres of music with the Minirig Mini since I received it three days ago. The sound it produces is balanced, the bass is not overpowering but its presence is well defined complimenting the mids and treble perfectly well. Its clear, big sound is just amazing for its size! I have listened to a variety of small speakers such as JBL and bose, but sound quality from those don't come close. Its great sound is worth its cost.

This thing is fantastic. Yeah, it's a little expensive, but it is seriously worth it. The audio quality is really excellent, for its size, especially. And, very important to me, if you download their app, and monkey around with the settings, any and all noises or beeps or sounds from turning on/off, connecting, low battery, etc (all the noises and alerts that other bluetooth speakers always make) can be turned off! So, if I leave it plugged in and set it to not turn off when not in use (not sure even if these steps are needed) it makes no sound, other than the music it's playing! As far as I can tell, this is the only bluetooth speaker on the planet that achieves this simple feat. Plus, it's made in England (!) -- buy this (or the Minirig 3, which seems to have the same features, but is bigger -- I bought this little guy) right away while it exists.

This little speaker just plain makes me happy. I smile when I listen to it. The clarity, seemingly neutral balance and bass output are wonderful for me. I liked it so much that I bought the companion sub-woofer and another Minirig Mini so that I can have actual stereo.The system is not the loudest thing I have heard, nor is the bass boosted (to my ears) but, I much prefer a neutral sounding speaker with excellent clarity.There is a youtube channel that reviews these: clavinetjunkie. I liked the sound vs size

An extraordinary device whose sound quality blows away the competition. Simply amazing in such a small package.

Do not buy these speakers if you are planning to use the TWS True Wireless L/R Stereo Pairing feature. This company has definitely not mastered this technology or bluetooth in general. You have been warned.This was my first Minirig purchase and was hopeful especially with all the hype and the ridiculously high cost of the product. Yes, the speakers sound great for the size but the bluetooth connectivity is poor. As I said above, the stereo pairing feature is really bad. The stereo pairing only stays connected if they are less than 3 feet apart which completely defeats the purpose and drop out still occur. Even then, they struggle to hold a connection and reconnecting them is such a pain in the butt. The same goes for the overall bluetooth connection which only works if you stay within a certain distance otherwise it drops out and requires reconnection. I contacted customer service and they sent me a super complex troubleshooting email that both proves this is a common issue as well as the fact the recommendations simply don't work. I then found other Amazon reviews also stating the TWS feature is poor. Fact of the matter is, this company charges a TON of money for a technology they simply have not mastered which is really strange because I found at least 3 other True Wireless stereo speakers that flawlessly hold the connection, some for even less than $30 a pair. Crazy! Such a shame Minirig hasn't figured out their Bluetooth connectivity issues because the speaker sounds great and the build quality is also nice. I ended up returning my pair and purchased a more stable brand of speakers.

I read some glowing reviews which made me convince to order one from UK and now that I have it it almost defies belief (and physics) what this speaker is capable of. A friend of mine visited me and together we tested it against several of our other speakers and couldn't believe our ears. Yes, bigger speakers like a JBL flip 4 or Bose Soundlink Revolve+ may get a tad louder but the soundstage the Minirig Mini produces is nothing short of amazing and deserves 10 stars. It's soo much ahead of the competition that it even makes the similarly sized Bose Soundlink micro sound like a toy (which is still the second best ultra portable speaker on the market though and has other advantages like fully water resistant and a handy mount strap).I use the Minirig Mini for listening to audio books and quiet piano music when going to bed and will sure take it on my next holiday since it's small but loud enough to fill an entire hotel room and should easily surpass any hotel TV in audio quality too (not sure if I should ever take it on the beach though since it's only splashproof)There's no IOS app released yet and the Android App has a few glitches (and still NO documentation available either, what does "EQ lock" do??) but in the few days since I got it a new version already fixed some bugs and I'm hopeful the company won't sleep on their laurels and continue to improve on an already incredible product in the foreseeable future. I wish there was an option to switch off the superfluous Led light althogether (I can check the battery level in the app anytime) because even when dimmed in the app settings it's still annoying in an otherwise dark room.

I love my Minirig! I recently stayed with a friend who has one, and as soon as I came home I bought one. The sound is amazing, it's really simple to set up and very solid. Wouldn't recommend this, but my friend's one has had beer spilt over it and still works fine. Great for travelling, but the quality's so good I'll mainly be using it like a proper speaker in the bedroom.The best thing about them is the bass, and you can play them loud with next to no distortion. UK designed, really good value for money. Get one, you won't regret it!

What an amazing little thing.I am a bit of a fan of portable music devices and was looking for something stronger than the already good but cheap device I used up to this point.I was skeptical because of the high price compared to the big advertised bose product, which is equally priced.But please bose, go home!The minirig is so much better in absolute every aspect.It starts off with high quality materials and an amazing design.It comes in a strong and save box.It immediately pairs to the Bluetooth with absolutely no waiting time.The sound is so full and easily covers a whole room.The bass can be felt through the floor eventhough it's such a small device.I really feel the urge to try out every single song on my playlist to compare my past sound experience to the minirig.The android app is very simple and absolutely uncomplicated to use.And last but not least the customer service is outstanding.A company that's proud of their development.Very responsive and helpful.I don't regret at all to have chosen this as an early birthday gift for myself.Thanks and keep up the great work!

I've had this Minirig Mini for a week now, my main reason for buying is I needed a speaker that was portable bluetooth but more important it had to sound good too.What swayed me to buy was the many positive reviews.It ticks all my boxes, the sound is to my liking, it can pack a punch when it has to, and listening at low volume is good throughout the whole range.Trying to get 30 hours battery life is pushing it, but I did get 21 hours of play average volume.For the price I would have liked a case, the case isn't even available as a separate purchase. I believe the Minirig 3 includes a case, seller take note.Very satisfied with my purchase.

WOW! Proud purchase of fantastic Bristol product. Fantastic sound and build quality - great engineering (I can imagine Brunel tapping his toe, nodding his head and smoking a big stoogie whilst listening to one their mixes). Arrived early. Worked straight from box with no need for a manual. Website great too (in case I lose my charging-lead or wish to buy some more). Look no further for the perfect (expandable) portable system!
