Couldnt be happier with this product. Its accurate to within 1/4lb. It feels extremely heavy duty. And is easy to read. Cant atteast to long term durabilty yet but i think its gonna be good.

Nice Gauge
Works well. I've always relied on AccuGage tire gauges. Nice.

Seems to be worth 5 stars
I bought this after reading a Wirecutter review extolling a similar Accu-Gage model that has a flexible hose between the gauge and the chuck. It is much easier to use than the cheap digital gauge I bought from a local auto parts chain that cost me close to $10. The chuck engages the tire valve with very little leakage.I was under the impression that the gauge was made in the U.S.A., but I cannot find any such representation anywhere on Amazon, and the package is clearly labelled "Made in China". I'm a little disappointed by that, but I've been disappointed for 30-40 years now by American manufacturers' outsourcing everything, and I can't fault Milton Industries any more than anyone else.

Seems to be accurate.
The gauge is of pretty good quality. The only complaint I do have is that it leaks down and doesn't hold the pressure reading on the tire you just checked so you need to look at it quickly before it bleeds off. If it weren't for that issue I would have given it 5 stars on the overall rating. That may not be an issue for everyone but is for me because the wheels on my ATV are deep and I cannot see the face of the gauge until I pull it out to look at where the dial is on the gauge.

Perfection.
I've owned a lot of tire gauges. This one is essentially perfect. It's accurate and the chuck design is one of the only ones I've found that doesn't bleed air when attaching to the valve stem. I only wish I'd discovered it sooner.

Quick fix
Was ready to return but read the other review that said the rubber protective cover sometimes get trapped under the stem. So I unscrewed the stem and sure enough it was trapped. So I got the rubber out from under the stem and it works well and holds pressure.

All good with one caveat
The good: brass construction, deep rubber spines on the protector, easy bleed valve, clear pressure markings in 1psi increments. As others have said, be sure to check that none of the protector has gotten caught under the screw-on head (mine was), otherwise it won't hold pressure. No big deal, this is an easy one-and-done deal. The bad: the swivel head end drives me nuts. My old cheaper Accugage (pot metal, not brass) has a straight-on head. The swivel one wants to turn as you press it on the valve stem, and because the gauge is always at an angle to the valve stem, it takes both hands to press it on straight without letting air out or keeping the gauge head fully seated to take a reading or bleed pressure off.If they made this with a straight-on head, it'd be a full win. I haven't found that model yet, but still looking.
