Avoid this garbage!
I ordered this watch on the basis of its appearance. Unfortunately this was the only good thing about it. From day 1 it has consistently lost time and occasionally stopped outright. I have looked for a pattern in this, e.g. face up, face down, wearing etc, not wearing. When being worn the watch keeps good time. the moment I put it down it can lose minutes a day. Initially I thought it could be the battery but past experience with battery failures suggests the second hand steps several seconds at a time as an indication the battery should be replaced. This might be a solution for this clunker but I am reluctant to make any investment in a product that is obviously faulty and has no repair/return option.Suggest anyone considering anything Akribos avoid.

Great watch
I bought this as I really like the simplicity of the Mondaine style Swiss face. This was $350 list price and reduced to about $80. Its a nice watch, works well and is highly viewable in varying lighting conditions, no squinting for white hands on a white face.The only thing that has knocked it down a star is the position of the watch strap where it connects to the watch. The 24mm bars connect under the watch (presumably to give it a clean look without having to have custom straps made) but it has the knock-on effect of raising up the whole watch face so it gets caught really easily and catches on sleeves, door frames etc as you walk. It also tends to rotate around your wrist more easily. It also means the strap can end up feeling shorter as more of the strap goes under the watch. I had to get a 24mm extra long strap in the end.None of these are major deal breakers for what was such a good deal though

Subtle Cool
The bright white dial sets off this watch, with the hands that contrast with the face for an easy read. How many times have you seen a gold face, and gold hands? A lot. Yellow, with yellow hands, etc. This watch is light, bright and accurate.Can wear as a classy dresser, or the casual cool. Thin and large face diameter: Excellent !

Strange designed
I'm trying getting use to it...i dont now ???, bracelet is short and white case looks rare on wrist, looks to big, should buy the black face instead

Lost Time
Be careful....after 30 days noticed watch slows down by 10 minuets a dayUnfortunately it took over 30 days to notice that all of a sudden watch lost 10 minutes a day consistently......so it could not be returned to Amazon.Changed battery....still lost time. I will send back to Company to see how they treat the situation and report back.

Modern looking watch
Watch is nice. First one received the battery was dead. Amazon sent another one the next day that has been working perfect.
