EXCELLENT Still 😁
This series gets better and then even more craziness happens 😲. Never-ending action, totally interesting situations, nasty bad stuff and people, with wonderful characters that will keep you turning pages 😉. Thanks again Michelle, I can't wait to read more 🤓.

Perfect blend of vampire romance, humor, and mystery!
Fresh off of an exciting adventure in Las Vegas (see Book 1, Blood Bath & Beyond), fledgling vampire Sarah Dearly and her master vampire lover, Thierry, get their next assignment: investigating the disappearances of three vampires in Salem, Massachusetts. Their contact in Salem is Owen, an old acquaintance of Thierry's with a playboy reputation. Before he can aid in their search for the other vampires, Owen ends up as nothing more than a stain on the driveway of the Booberry Inn, the bed & breakfast where Sarah and Thierry are staying. Only an alpha witch could be powerful enough to kill Owen from a distance-but who in Salem has that kind of power?Did one of Owen's witchy exes cast the spell, or is there another dark force after the vampires of Salem? Suddenly it's up to Sarah to find out, as another spell sends Thierry on an unexpected out-of-body experience. With the help of the bed & breakfast's owners, Sarah must solve the mysteries of the disappearing vampires, Owen's murder, and the strange spell that's been cast on Thierry-all before she ends up next on the list of victims. With the setting of Salem-home of the famous Salem witch trials-and a cast of witches, vampires, and even a ghost or two, this book was the perfect Halloween-week read for me. While I've never read Michelle Rowan's other series (including a romance series revolving around Sarah & Thierry), I'm certainly planning to check out the rest of her books. She won me over with "Blood Bath & Beyond", and "Bled & Breakfast" was the perfect follow-up to leave me excited for more in this series. Sarah is smart and funny, and very easy to relate to. Her relationship with the other characters in the book-no matter how small their parts-made this a great read. Excellent character development and a few fun surprises :) If you're a fan of smart vampire fiction (i.e. none of that glittering in the sunlight mess), Harry Potter references, witches, ghosts, and time travel-this is definitely a read you'll want to pick up!

I just adore Sarah Dearly and her escapades!
Read for Fun (Paperback)Overall Rating: 4.50Story Rating: 4.50Character Rating: 4.50First Thought when Finished: I just adore Sarah Dearly and her escapades! Bled & Breakfast is the perfect setting for her hijinks!Story Thoughts: Salem is the perfect setting for Bled & Breakfast! I pretty much giggled, gasped, and cheered throughout the whole book. Who would have thought that in Salem you would have witches, ghosts, and vampires who refuse to die (even when made into sand). What can I say? I was sucker for all the paranormal elements that gone thrown into the mix and all the new characters. The more I learn about Sarah, the more I think I need to read the original series this is a spin-off from!Character Thoughts: Sarah and Thierry are probably my favorite cozy mystery couple. They are so different and yet so perfect for each other. Let's talk about my favorite character(s) in Bled & Breakfast: Owen. He was just a male-slut to the max and yes he is absolutely deplorable but oh so fun! I also liked the witches and shifters introduced. Dare I say that I hope we get more of the owner of the Bed and Breakfast! She was delightful!Final Thoughts: Can't wait for the follow-up to Bled & Breakfast!

I miss the old series....:(
Sarah Dearly, fledgling vampire extraordinaire, is just to her old tricks again. The Ring has sent Sarah and master vampire husband, Thierry to solve the mystery of vanishing master vampires in Salem, Massachusetts. I was excited for more of a witch angle in this novel, but alas it was once again Sarah acting impulsively and Thierry being secretive about his past. I didn't feel the relationship progressing at all. It’s what I miss most about the previous series. The duo meets up with Theirry's old freind Owen, who drops dead in a strange manner upon their arrival. Sarah can see and communicate with ghosts which ties in to the assignment. I won't give too much away, but this book wasn't very consistant and I had a hard time getting into this book.Hopefully the next book in the series will see a noticable progression in Sarah and Theirry's relasionship on an emotional level. I find msyelf questioning why she would stay with him.

Thierry & Sarah blast through another mystery!
Sarah is on her own for much of this story while Thierry's spirit is being kept from his body. That gorgeous body becomes a stopover for playboy vamp Owen on his way to the great beyond. Witches abound in the B&B and the surrounding town, and sifting through all the witches' motivations requires some serious investigation and ...time travel? Figuring out whom she should trust is the key for Sarah, and that job takes her through 99% of the book. I had my suspicions far earlier, but the author did a great job of leaving false trails and interconnected plots that did not mesh until the very end.

Fun and twisty
If the characters weren't so likeable I think I'd be yelling 'why would you do that?'. Michelle fleshes out her protagonists in a thoroughly engaging manner. The dialogue is witty and fresh and yet comfortable at the same time. The situations are entertainingly convoluted and if you're a fan of the series you wont be disappointed.Looking forward to seeing what further perils married life brings our heroine.
