Was able to pick up 13 channels, more than what I was able to get with the “old school” antenna but was expecting more from what was advertised in the description.

Maybe to much information: got caught watching a stupid night time serial on cable. Have two televisions but only one connected to cable. Purchased this HDTV Antenna because it was affordable with hope it could bring in the signal of a local station. After some fidgety, placing it close to a window, television received the local signal. This all happened months ago. I do not use the television connected to the antenna often.

For about $10 overall a great antenna! I hooked up indoors as a whole house antenna. I am in southeast Phoenix area, 29 miles from broadcast towers. I easily picked up most major networks and their sub channels with antenna anywhere in house. Unfortunaterly antenna had to be upstairs, on a window sill and perfectly aimed using compass on phone to get PBS and NBC. I tried locating near tech panel, another room's window sill upstairs and garage. Base with coax too bulky to secure it perfectly aimed, and little pets or kids or opening blinds/curtains woul lose channels. Too much work for my needs.

I have tried a couple of different flat/ non powered antennas and didn't work that great. Had to move around all the time and just got a few channels off and on. This powered antenna tower picks up everything! Not too good without the amplifier, but works great with it plugged in! Mine is plugged into the wall with the adapter, not into the USB in the tv. It's got a nice and soft rubbery type of feel and comes with a wall-mount plate. Mine is just up on the bookshelf next to the tv, didn't have to try it in the window like some other reviewers.

I received the Digital HDTV Antenna in great condition. It was supposed to have one USB cable and one power adapter but instead came with two power adapters and no USB cable which is needed to power the antenna. Except for that, I would give it five stars.

I bought this to watch sports, specifically football, without having to pay for cable. I can get the three major channels (NBC, CBS, FOX) in HD with no issue. Most of the other channels I get in my area are in SD and many of the ones I get are redundant and have unreliable reception. As with any antenna, you'll have to move it around to find the best reception area. I could only get 5 channels when it was placed under my TV. Moving it about 3 feet away and putting it next to the window gave me access to 41 more. Might try moving it around some more or switching from the "long range" to "short range" setting.I do wish that the built-in coax was longer because now I need an adapter to be able to run it up to my TV and still be able to hide the little digital converter box that comes attached.

Picked up 8 channels, both on the switch provided for antenna hd channels ana antenna uhf hd channels, same for both 8 channels, still impressed.

It didn't work in my TV, area. I got one 5 channel and 2 have a terrible image and delay.

Yes, you get more channels than if you didn't have it, but it's nowhere near the same as if you put up an aerial antenna.
