"Twin pack" is an unfortunate term for one whistle and one book, but sounds fine for $10.
The whistle is well-made and plays in proper tune. Timber and tonality depend on the material and this metal is "brighter" in sound than a Clarke. One reviewer described it as sounding like a toy - I don't think it sounds like a toy. This is my fifth penny whistle, the second in D and while it is distinctively different from my Clarke, it's obviously not a plastic recorder either. The booklet is easy to read and includes a lot of material for the price - great for new players. The name "twin pack" is weird though.

Will have you skipping through a forest playing tunes in no time
I started playing this cause I was watching too much YouTube while sitting at home during these weird times. Good whistle, easy to play after a tiny bit of practice. My advice is to be patient and take your time with the basics, especially how you blow air through it. You have to do it just right. There are good tutorials on YT and I recommend CutiePie. After a week of practice I felt like I needed to be skipping through a forest playing this thing. You will feel the same. Trust me.

Budget friendly, but not the best tone
Easy to play, but some of the notes speak with a fuzzy tone. Nice book with good tunes.

Harder to play...
Maybe it's just me; but, this whistle is harder to reach higher notes on than my plastic whistles.

Great Tin Whistle for Gift
I bought this tin whistle as a gift for a student's sister, who also plays flute. I already have one, and they are fun and easy to learn. This one came quickly, which was great.

Disappointed in sound.
Haven't had much playing time. I'm sure it would sound better for me in time.

Going to be fun!
It's perfect. I have always wanted to play a tin whistle. I am trying to learn something new this year and this is what I picked. Instructions are simple and easy to follow. Whistle sound is lovely (once you learn the right way to breathe. 😊
