Jaipur Rugs Inc Hand Tufted, Selene Red Oxide/Sand, 8 by 10

I posted a photo (which as I write has yet to appear) of the way the sides of the carpet fray. It has been continuous since I bought it; I have no idea if it will stop at some point. Also, the rug is very thick, not as one might expect from a typical high-quality carpet. Looks good though.

I was a little disappointed the details were not as defined as shown in product picture. The Red Oxide is a beautiful color/Sand is darker than shown. At first, I thought maybe it was not genuine... but also with it being hand tufted perhaps no two are exactly alike. Overall I'm satisfied with purchase. For $65 it looks great in my living room!

Love it! I ordered this not being sure the colors would be what I needed; it is absolutely PERFECT. Unexpected great thickness; excellent finishing. I live in a very large city with multitudes of shopping choices; I don't believe I could have made a better choice had I roamed the city and hand-picked one personally. Amazon's customer service is also superb...intially a 'runner' was sent instead of a 4" x 6", which I had ordered. It was expeditiously corrected and the right rug arrived early on the 3rd business day!! That is incredible turnaround service. I could not be more pleased with the rug AND Amazon. And I might add, I will always look for Jaipur rugs in the future; I am so impressed with the quality and price.
