So stinking cute and the ringer is pretty loud. Love the attention to detail. Feels very solid and is well made. I'm impressed. I probably love this phone because we had a rotary dial phone growing up. It's going to my office and I suppose it won't take long for my coworkers to figure out it rings....and drive me nuts. Hahaha

The media could not be loaded. My one year old boy loves going into the kitchen and getting into everything. I thought a fun fridge magnet that makes noise would be a good focal point to deter him from all the things that he shouldn’t be getting into. He loves it and it totally works for the intended purpose. But right now it’s after midnight and he’s over here sleeping like a bad husband and he is currently still getting phone calls. I have a sneaking suspicion that upon receiving this new phone, that he has already made some international business deals. He is my second child, so technically he is a Boss Baby. I will post an update.

The packaging was okay. It didn't work out of the box. I removed the tab that was between the batteries and pushed the button but no noise. I opened the battery cover and gently separated one side of the batteries so I they had a connection and tested the button and it worked. I then folded a very small piece of paper and inserted it between the batteries so it would make contact. It now works.

rings like a telephone, and has a light that lights up in red when the phone rings, i bought it for my dollhouse living room coffee table, 1/12 scale coffee table, it's quite large for the dollhouse coffee table, but i use it anyway, because it looks good and cute, the telephone is at least 2 inches or more in depth, it rings loud and the red light that lights up is bright, the receiver does not come off of the phone, it's built in the phone, just push down on the receiver the phone rings and has and red light when the receiver is pushed down, i bought this on amazon

The audio is from a modern electronic "bleep - bleep" phone, not a mechanical ringer (with bells). How hard would it have been to download a proper ringer sound from a 1940's dial phone? Extremely disappointing.

This moderately strong refrigerator magnet is a very cute reproduction of a vintage telephone, the kind I remember from my childhood. It "holds up" fairly well, but if you want to hear the sound that it makes, you have to consider that the magnet is on the back of this phone, and if you press down on the receiver to make it ring, as you must do, the whole magnet will fall because it's not well balanced. However, it is definitely worth just putting your thumb under the phone and holding the magnet up that way while you press the receiver. The sound is realistic.

was disappointed as i expected a smaller size looking phone but that was my fault in not checking the dimensions. It IS in excellent condition and would work well with perhaps 18" dolls if that is what you are looking to use this for. I was hoping for fashion doll size.
