These lily pipes do really well to circulate any surface film from your aquascape tank and when positioned lower, the lily doesn't cause too much surface turbulence to keep from losing too much CO2. These lily pipes are a little wider than the ADA or Do Aqua! lily pipes, but are much cheaper and does the job. If looking for aesthetics or looks, then go with the ADA. If looking for something that works and don't mind the looks, then these are perfect for your aquascapes tank. They work well with Eheim 2211 filters  EHEIM Classic 250 External Canister Filter ? 2213  (9mm for outlet, you'll need the 12mm size pipe for the intake) or Zoo Med 501 canister filters  Zoo Med 501 Turtle Canister Filter .
