Buy this if you want a Coffee Experience!!
OMG! the whole house gets aromatic as and when you open the parcel. It is so good. The flavors are so full. You enjoy the coffee making process. It requires work unlike the ready to drink ones. All the process is so worth it when you sit with your cup full. I have visited Blue Tokai once in Bangalore and I loved their coffee experience so much. Buying this packet helps me relive the experience at home.

Excellent flavor
I decided to buy this flavor after trying Monsoon Malabar pourover at the Roastery Coffee House in Kolkata. Amazing flavor, taste and smell. When I opened the package, my mom asked me if I opened it for the first time, because the aroma so strong, it spread throughout the room. If you love black coffee, go for it.PS: please don't add sugar to it. :)

Mild
The aroma was excellent and strong and the name ‘Monsoon Malabar’ gave me an idea of a strong filter coffee but the taste was very mild. I guess ‘French-press’ is supposed to be that way. I’m not saying it was bad but it was very light and mild and the decoction was golden in colour than brown.

My favorite in Blue Tokai so far
Not a big fan of Blue Tokai, but this one is my favorite so far and probably Monsoon Malabar overall is a favorite among Indian sorts of coffee. Low on acidity, mellow taste and a golden-brown color in the cup. Unusual smoky earthy taste with notes of wood, even moss, spice, chocolate and nuts. It has a sweetish finish, adding relatively rich crema to espresso cup. I used it with mocca espresso pot and it went perfect.

Not a good coffee
No matter what grind I tried the coffee tasted pretty ordinary, worse than a local coffee. There was hardly any crema with my espresso machine (which there is with any other coffees I tried), which indicates the coffee is old. And that's exactly how it tastes - like an old coffee with not much flavour. Hardly any smell either. Same experience with an Aeropress. Some beans are darker roast and some are lighter roast. At this point I cannot trust Blue Tokai about any of their claims, what kind of coffee they roast, and when and how they roast it.

Very good coffee
This coffee has a coarse grind. Maybe it's perfect for french press. But if you use a cezve, like I do , then grind coffee ones again to the powder.Very aromatic coffee !

Great Coffee, Faint Flavour
Nice Coffee overall, works great with Cold Brew. Only thing I was a teensy weensy bit disappointed about is that I could not taste the flavours they've mentioned in the product's description. That's not a deal breaker for me though. I am keen on trying out the light roasts this company has to offer.
