TRX Hinge Anchor Compatible
The house's "OEM" hinges weren't compatible with the TRX (it's some sort of fitness device) Hinge Anchor. Neither was one I got at Home Despot. This one (3-1/2") was a drop-in replacement. Otherwise, it seems to be a competent enough hinge. The holes and shape exactly matched with the old (72 years?) hinges. Mind you I wouldn't use them on a submarine hatch or the International Space Station but they're good enough for a bedroom door.I reused the original screws since they were a little longer even though they were flat slots with lotsa paint in them. The new screws are Phillips head and have a kinda self-drilling point. Rather than experimenting with the new ones, I went with what's worked all these years.

These are top quality hinges, and in a hard to find, satin brass. I got the hinges the next day on a Sunday., which I needed right away! Thank you!

Exact replacement for the 60 year old hinges in my house
Refinishing our house from Walnut trim, to White trim and decided to also update the old brass hinges on the doors.These are a perfect fit.They aren't quite as beefy as the old hinges, but still seem to do the job.Only 4 stars for 2 reasons..1. The screws are just a tad smaller in diameter and length compared to the old ones, and hence I needed to doctor the screw holes a little to get the screws to grip tight. A little bigger screw would be nice.2. The hinges have a little bit of play in them.. Maybe after I put some grease on the hinge pin that will be better, but the tolerance on the older hinges was closer. Still decent hinges and will work fine.

Get what you pay for
Ordered 2 sets for reno, went to install, should have 36 screws, only 18 were included..my contractor said I could order square corners or round...the old ones were round. These did not fit, screws also quite short..I ordered new ones from Home Depot
