My new phone the Hauwei P20 Pro has a USB-C connection as opposed to the mini-USB of my last one, I use various types of ordinary USB sticks the basic, USB 3 mini and standard, so for me to be able to continue using these I needed an adapter, and this multiport adapter is all I need, connects easily to the phone and without any fuss I can plug my devices directly in this adapter, it has the added benefit of taking my photographic SDX card, micro Sd card, another USB-C connection and a 4K HDMI slot, what more could I ask for ? no changes to any of my data, audio or photographic inputs all this in one highly portable muti-adapter, recommended.

I've got the newest Macbook pro 2018 which has USB C connectors on it - this was one of my specific requirements for a laptop, however the smaller they make them then the less ports you tend to get.This hub is smaller than it looks in the picture which is a good think - its really compact and fits nicely in my laptop bag and is very light weight.This adaptor provides 7 connectivities options via a single USB C port. I found it particularly useful when out and about as due to having a card reader built in as well, I can transfer photos from my camera directly via USB port and read SD card via SD ports whilst also being able to charge my macbook via type c port.The other big advantage is that I have a good mains USB charger that can connect to this and fast charge the laptop and all connected devices at the same time due to it's USB C input port.

This was a great adaptor with all the slots you could possibly want. The only problem was the as different equipment was plugged in and pulled out the cable allowed the USB-C connection to wiggle around and come lose. In the end the external hard drive I had attached via it kept losing connection. Ideal if you just want to plug things into the adaptor and keep it one place. Not so good if you want to move your laptop or tablet around, and want to plug in different things at different times.

Works straight out of the box on both Windows 10 PC and my MacBook. Transfer speeds very fast and colour of the metal matches the MacBook beautifully. Really handy for those whose machines have only a single USB-C socket, like mine. Total perfection would have been the inclusion of a gigabit Ethernet port but that would have made it thicker. One note, if you plug a USB-C power adapter in while it is already connected to the computer, it is totally non-disruptive but if you then unplug the power source it temporarily disconnects and reconnects all attached devices. Provided you know in advance it’s still a cracking device.

I haven't had the product long but so far I've liked multiple aspects of it:Aesthetic - it's bulkier than a simple USB one but as it serves to connect to a TV and not out and about that doesn't matter to me. It looks and feels nice.Functionality - it has lots of options with the USB ports, HDMI and SD card reading facilities. The HDMI one is very simple to set up and provides a relatively good image from one device to another screen (you can alter the settings to improve the refresh rate but I didn't feel it was necessary).Overall (so far) I would definitely recommend the product.

Bought this as i travel a lot to meetings so I needed a way to transport all my files and keep my phone charged. This item is perfect easy to use and set up very happy with purchase. Thank you

good product, it gets quite hot but it works wellIt has a blue light that I personally do not like, spend energy and annoying when everything is darkEDIT:I just bought an SSD that connected to the computer gives me a speed of 930 MB/s read and writeand connected to the hub it only gives me maximum 33 MB/s read and writeI attach photos for you to see for yourselves.I feel cheated!!

This adapter continuously disconnects which is a massive issue when i'm importing from a memory card and it disconnects part way through or when i'm projecting to screen and it suddenly stops working although the light remains on. Furthermore it seems to have a problem supporting both a memory card and a charger at the same time which should not be an issue as it seems to be designed to support both. I'm very disappointed as it had great reviews and was on the higher price point of adapters.
