The EVA filter-holder is compatible with most Cokin creative adaptor rings and filters, So existing users can upgrade to the new EVO filter-holder without fear of increasing their filter investment. Evo Circular polarizer the EVA Circular polarizer is engineered to work seamlessly with the Cokin EVO filter-holder system but will fit any lens with 95mm or 105mm thread. The EVA C-PL uses an HRT polarizing film that absorbs only 1 F-stop of light providing faster and more accurate AF than traditional polarizing filters. Its effect is controlled by rotating its front ring. Reflections are removed or reduced revealing the natural color and subject behind the reflection. This results in more colorful leaves, bluer skies, and increased clarity. It also works great on Windows and water by cutting the reflection and seeing through to your subject. Cokin top top quality well designed and made
This evo holder kit is a great leap forward in design and quality. The holder does not have the 3 pins like the orignal, thankfully. But it holds the filters and adapter tightly and securely. The holder and cpl mounting plate are all metal, really well made. The plastic slots and brass screws are the same as the original holder.You have to remove the first set, of the 3 slots, from the holder, and then replace them with the cpl mounting plate.The holder also has a rubberised ring seal fixed to it. This is to accomadate a long exposure nd filter.This set up gives you the ability to use a cpl and long exposure filter together.Front cpl, middle square filter, rear square filter (long exposure goes here against the seal).You are also provided with spacers to accomadate 4mm filters. Also a spare set of slots, nice touch.For info, i have the Cokin nuances, 5 stop and 10 stop filters. They are provided with loose foam seals, to be used with the original holder. The concern is, that they can be easily lost, when photographing in the field. With the evo kit you dont have that problem.Cost wise not cheap. But i think reasonable considering the quality and design.Just consider this, when you compare the price against the Cokin Z164 polariser, that filter is either the same or more than this kit, which makes this price even better.A better system with the Cpl included for the price.By the way, the Cpl is really beautifully constructed, even down to its storage box.Yes i am very happy and i cant wait to use it.

Great product but buy bigger than you think you need for wide angles.
Build quality is fantastic but I was a little disappointed. I'm a landscape photographer and the first time using this I had vignetting at 24mm. Its not a deal breaker but it means I will in the future need to buy the larger kit also as I intend to use the 20mm wide angle prime with this kit but. I bought this kit for the soul reason that it shouldn't cause vignetting on a 77mm threaded lens as its a 100mm filter size and a 105mm cpl. When I use a wider than 24mm lens the images will be useless. The product is fantastic but you need to really exaggerate the size when purchasing. You can eliminate the vignetting at 24mm by removing one of the filter holders. But for my needs I planned on using the CPL a GND and 10xND at the same time.

Was not willing to pay the price for Lee set up so went with this instead. Been around the country with it this year and its still ok. Can't compare it too Lee having never owned them. These are a bit fiddly but I'm thinking all systems are similar. I've ended up buying the naunce fiters for it as they are so much better than the resin ones but these are also very expensive. So check around for prices as even this kit can add up to ££££.
