What does the instructions mean by degrade the sensitivity?

I think it says "does not degrade the sensitivity". This means that having the screen protector over the top of the touch sensitive screen doesn't affect the sensitivity of the screen. You don't have to press hard on the screen to make it work.

Will this fit the new Series 5 44mm?

It fits my series 4 beautifully, if the buttons are in the same place I don’t see why not. Me being me the price you are paying for this cover I would buy it and see if it doesn’t fit so be it
