Pros: it charges okay. About the speed you would expect.Cons: The cord length is short. To short for what I would like.After exactly twelve months the wire is breaking. This is unacceptable since it gets very light use in my car.Bottom line: I would not recommend this to a friend.

After three months of having it (on the sixth use) the lighting port adapter completely disconnected from the the cord. That made that cord useless but I bought this one so that I could plug my own lightning cable to the USB. For one more month (three more uses) the USB served its purpose. Now four months after the purchase, I’m stuck with a useless piece of plastic. This product worked great and we were very satisfied until it stopped working. I wouldn't waste your time or money on this. I have contacted the seller and never received a response or any type of reconciliation.

I should have tried this upon receival but I put it off too late to return it. Buyers be aware of your return dates! This unit is very loose and it would only engage if I pushed and held it in place. Well, what’s the point? Don’t buy this or if you do make absolutely sure it fits tightly into your car’s lighter socket and powers up without you having to hold/push it in place.

Never really lighted up..cord was short and stiff..never would strech out..hardly went from my dashboard port to the seat..always trying to pull it to the floor..Only lasted for year or so and then completley pooped out

Unfortunately it did not work. It was a very loose fit in the 12V socket and seemed to have a short in the cord. In addition to the non-charging issue, cord is very tightly coiled making it difficult to be more than a foot from the outlet.

This worked well for a couple months now it will it charge my phone since the connector will not stay in my phone, luckily it has a USB port so I can use a different cord to do it.

This charger trips or blows fuses and that subsequently takes out all my charging ports in my vehicle. The plug had to be in the 'sweet spot' too when it did work. That was annoying. Plus I've had it for a short time, less than 2 months, and the center part is flacid and doesn't stay extended. I think this is part of the problem for why it doesn't charge.

The charger cable coils are really tight and don’t extend very far at all making it difficult to mount or secure phone if plug is not near a mountable area.
