this has dairy/cow's milk, says so right on the canister. not vegan, not dairy free.
i bought these bc i assumed they'd be dairy free (lesson folks, never make assumptions!) - amazon currently only has 1 picture of the item (why?), no nutritional info picture or info- and i now wonder if that is on purpose. so i went by the 5 reviews (at the time of this writing) that were saying how great it is that it's dairy free, vegan etc. and i bought it.i don't have a dairy allergy per se, but i feel much better without it. eating these made me feel a little gross. i ate these delicious bites quickly bc they taste great, felt a little weird, looked on the canister and it says something like (i'm going by memory, the canister is in the trash now), "the chocolate coating contains milk. not suitable for milk allergic individuals."now they do taste great and the concept is brilliant, but as i'm trying to remain dairy free i won't get these again. i'd imagine many people who eat these are trying to go dairy free, or are vegan, otherwise why buy almond milk ice cream at all and not cow's milk regular, cheap ice cream. so i think it's a no brainer - they should make these without dairy, use a a different chocolate coating.but yes these taste great, are portable, are good in the middle of the day if you just need a sweet hit, and you can handle dairy and aren't vegan edit: i see this was brought up before on a previous listing of this item, but that listing was mysteriously ended: https://www.amazon.com/Almond-Dream-Almond-Based-Dessert-Chocolate/dp/B01N8UE02B#customerReviews one review from that page: "I don’t understand why you would make an almond milk ice cream but then put dairy in the chocolate coating. Not suitable for vegans." another review: "These tasty good, but are not vegan/dairy-free. The chocolate contains milk and the back of the packaging specifically says “unsweetened chocolate contains milk. Not suitable for milk allergic individuals.”I’m not sure what the point of having almond ice cream bites if the chocolate around it contains dairy. These are super delicious though." totally agree. and think it's very strange that that ad was mysteriously ended (likely bc the rating was too low), and then a new ad created with no mention in the ad that these have dairy.

Contains dairy!
Is you’re looking for a dairy-free ice cream, do not purchase this! The ice cream is made from almond milk but the chocolate coating has dairy. So disappointed!!

Where has this been my whole life?
I was looking for a good vegan ice cream that didn’t taste like frozen trash. I stumbled across this and decided to give it a try. Oh my goodness, it’s delicious, doesn’t make me feel awful afterwards and I get to control my portion. Love it!

NOT VEGAN
Purchased this assuming it was vegan. Very disappointed to read ingredients and discover it contains milk. Not sure what the point of making almond ice cream that contains milk.
