The Student Leadership Guide

I am a fan of this author. He has some great books, writes in an easy to understand manner, that doesnt bore you or make you feel like reading is a chore. I cam across this book by accident while i was looking into the author. While its a “students” guide, it can and should be read by anyone interested in working with others and self improvement. Its interesting to see how the author has developed his teaching/coaching skills over time. You can see the evolution to his current methodology. I def think this should still keep being published as the author does a great job of helping you to learn how to think not just about yourself but how to interact with others and how to clarify communication and expectations. Id say especially for any student high school through graduate school should consider this a must read. Im half tempted to buy up all the used copies and give them to school aged family members. I wish i had found this when i was younger! However, this book is still of great use to anyone of any age! I think medium to large sized organizations would benefit from giving this book to all employees or at least those involved with groups or in management.When you start to follow the author the only annoying thing is the pushing of expensive educational seminars and online course. While you will likely get your moneys worth, its a bit annoying to keep hearing a sales pitch.

Brendon is a remarkable intellect and expert across a number of subjects, leadership included. I've read all of his books, taken several of his online and DVD trainings and have walked away with a WEALTH of actionable information. Perhaps more importantly, he's the real deal in all areas. He's a genuine, caring and responsive human being and professional. There's quite frankly no one else like him, that I'm aware of, in the market place. You MUST check out this book and Brendon's other products. They will change your life, personally and professionally.

Whether you are a student or a master of leadership this work by Brendon Burchard is a valuable reference. As a leader, your job is to develop others and this work makes that role a lot easier.

5 stars! Brendon Burchard does an amazing job of breaking down the topic of leadership into his 6 E's framework. His story at the beginning about making the most of your college experience and having a vision for the future really resonated with me. Brendon is a true leader in every sense of the word. I couldn't recommend this book any higher!

Mainly, I use this book for teaching leadership to my daughters. It is a little hard to decode but very helpful. I also use it to give guidelines to my students at the university.

Intuitive author, I like his work...this was just the beginning.

It's pretty good, but it didn't hold my attention for long. Got through maybe 2-3 chapters. I like his work for the most part though.

It exceeds expectations, Brendon Burchard always delivers abundance and practicality in the same offer, and that makes him exceptional.It's not this book only of his I am referring to but all his work is of that level. Thank you Brandon and continue to fly higher and higher.

To be honest, I was told to buy this for a course. I did, but I never fully read it. It seems like a straight-forward read, but the tone is a bit condescending (in my opinion).
