Pretty nifty conversion for SPD pedals
My job is located 15 minutes away from my home by bike. I love my SPD shoes but to lug around another pair of shoes for such a short ride was frustrating. I love these adapters because they are easy to install and do what they are designed for. So, I love them but why 4 stars and not 5? I think that they should have had a mount for placing toe cages on the pedals. If toe cages could have been installed then hands down these adapters would have received a 5. I still love them though!

Not only poor, but dangerous
They keep falling off. Many times I had to stop and pick them up while riding. Today, one fell off in traffic and a car ran over it. That's the end of that. The plastic edges that clip on quickly get chipped after only a couple times of putting them on and off. Then they become loose. It's not only annoying but dangerous as you practically lose a pedal while riding in traffic.

Easy Install, Easy Release and Durable
The release/locking mechanism (the green part) is a nice feature as it makes installation and removal easy. I previously owned a platform that had to be twisted and untwisted into place; because it was such a hassle, I left them in all the time until one of them fell off when I was using my bike shoes with clips. It's durable - while pushing my bike outside, I inadvertently banged the platform and pedal into a doorframe and the platform popped out without breaking. If you find the platform is not secure or falls out too easily, you may want to increase the spring tension in your pedals a little bit.

Would work if it were made with the right plastic.
Decent idea, poor execution. Like many I bought these for short trips where I don't want to put my clipless shoes on. I went in with the expectation that these wouldn't be fit for permanent attachment to the bike, just something you clip on and ride, then take off when you're done. That won't even be the case however. When I got them I tried fitting them and they snapped in place like I expected them to, then I took them off to see how well that worked, worked decently, a little tough to get off but that seemed good though. The problem arose when trying to put them back on. After one use the cam doesn't lock in place anymore, the plastic deformed to where there's a .1mm gap between the green cam and the black catch. After looking at them for a while I came to the conclusion that the plastic is either ABS or HIPS, not a bad plastic, just not the right choice here. Glass filled Nylon would have been more resistant to deformation, even talk filled nylon or glass filled ABS or HIPS would have worked, but straight ABS does not work. Additionally, the locking mechanism could stand to be bigger, sure you'd have to pop them off with a screwdriver or a bottle opener, but at least they'd stay on the pedal.

Great idea, poor execution
This is a great idea, just poorly executed. The pedals do snap on and off with ease--the problem is that they keep popping off in random places and I've burned through two pairs in just a couple of months! Once the last of these pops off I'll be replacing them with dual pedals.

Good product but could use a small design tweak on ...
The plastic clip does wear down after putting on and taking off a lot I just put a small strip of duct tape over the clip and thats enough to keep the clip in place. Good product but could use a small design tweak on the clip.

PLATFORMS FALL OFF CONSTANTLY!!!!
I have had these now for a few months but have only used them on 4 or 5 bike rides. They worked well for the the first two rides but then they started falling off. I used them yesterday and they would fall off every time that I took my foot off the pedal. There is supposed to be a small interference fit that locks the platform into place but it rubbed off very quickly. It was so bothersome on my ride yesterday that I had to stop at a pharmacy during the bike ride and buy some electrical tape to hold the platforms onto the pedals. This completely defeats the purpose. DO NOT BUY THESE!

Such a remarkable product! +1 for ease of use and amazing quality construction!
These Pedal adapters are fantastic! not to mention that the company and overall customer service, feedback, and response time is terrific!! These adapters are very well made and DO NOT budge when installed, and you don't need any "EXTRA" set of cleats like some of the other competitors out there on the market. These just plain work!! Plus they are used and tested and also fit my setup on a 2013 Cannondale Scalpel 3 with Shimano PD-M985 XTR clipless pedals!!
