Stop Thumbsucking Thumb Sucking Kids Baby Child Finger Guard Protect (Small (from 12 to 36 Month))

To be honest I had little to no belief that this product would actually work. My 2-year-old daughter had been sucking her thumb since she was 6months old. She was very bad, I would say the majority of the day her thumb would be in her mouth. The doctors said not to worry too much about it till she was older and I wasn't too eager to make her stop because I know that sucking her thumb soothed her. But her thumb got so raw, it became infected and the nail started to come off. I decided I needed to try something. At first I tried putting the things on her thumb that make it taste bitter, that didn't work whatsoever. So that's when I decide to try Dr. Thumb. I was so afraid that she was going to absolutely hate have this on her hand, but she only really got frustrated with it for the first 15-20 minutes. After that she didn't care it was on and she stopped trying to put her thumb in her mouth. She could do everything as normal and actually got mad when we took it off for bath and food (we told her it was her bracelet so thats what she called it and showed it off to everyone). So we kept it on the 3 weeks, as per the instructions, only taking it off for eating and baths. By the end of the first week she would stop putting her thumb in her mouth even when it was off. But we still kept it on to be safe. By week three we were nervous to take off, but once we did to our joy she didn't suck her thumb!! It's now been 2 months since and she has not tried sucking her thumb once! This product is amazing and so glad we tried it! The only complaint is i wish it was easier to tighten & loosen the straps. You have to make fine adjustments to get the tightness just right, for they cannot take off. And with this setup it can be difficult to do. But once you got it, you don't have to worry about it too much.

I have a very petite three year old, so I ordered the smaller size. Well, it leaves marks on her hand from being too tight in some spots but she can get her thumb out! She doesn't suck while it's on, but she can easily get it off. I find it on the floor all the time. I'm not sure how it's too tight and too big at the same time. I have adjusted it a ton of times. Also, although the photo appears to be in English, the product comes with everything in a foreign language.

My daughter started sucking her thumb at 2-3 months old. She is now 3 and developed a callous on her right thumb. We used Dr. Thumb for a total of 5 days. I told her that I ordered a "thumb thing" to help her stop sucking her thumb. We built up anticipation, so when it finally came in the mail she was excited to wear it. She wore it for 48hrs straight (removing only for bath time), then only at nights for 3 nights. The device seemed to be comfortable to wear because my daughter never complained when she had it on. She was able to play, and eat as usual without issue. During the first day of wearing it I saw her about to put her thumb in her mouth, then suddenly stop once she remembered she had the device on. After the first day, she didn't even try to suck her thumb during the day! Once she learned to cope during the day without sucking her thumb she didn't even try to suck her thumb before bed either. It has now been 3 weeks without the device and she has not reverted back. She is not a thumb sucker any more! The first week after she stopped wearing the device we would radomly ask her if the sucked her thumb and she would proudly say "nope!" We gave her a high five each time. I think she was the right age to try this product. I'm not sure if this would have went so quickly if she were younger or older. Her thumb callous is almost gone too!

I bought this last month for my 17-month-old daughter to stop her thumb-sucking habit. The fitting was perfect. My daughter struggled for two days while sleeping. But after two days, it worked like a miracle. She completely stopped sucking her thumb just after two weeks and slept well at night. We were so happy. But right after two weeks, both of the size control loops broke. It couldn't fit any more on her hand and my daughter started again sucking her thumb. I was planning to use this for two more weeks so my daughter can completely stop sucking thumb. I don't know what happened to these size control loops. I guess my daughter has chewed them, but I never saw her doing that. I wish this company would have added at least two extra size control loops in the box. Otherwise, the overall product is good.

Didn't work for my 2 year old daughter, even before she managed to get it off she was still sucking her thumb. Product fit perfectly, but she still managed to remove it within 10 min. Even used nixit on the product to deter her. No effect. On to the next thumb sucking remedy, maybe we will kick this habit by the time she goes to college 🤷‍♀️

Après plusieurs méthodes qui ont fini par un échec total, cet outil a mis fin à cette souffrance !! Une fois positionné sur le pouce de mon garçon de 2 ans, il s'est mis à vouloir l'enlever avec toutes ces forces mais vainement ! Il a donc passé toute une journée à pleurer, le lendemain il pleurait moins et le 3ème jour il l'a oublié complétement et oublié le vieux reflexe de mettre son pouce dans sa bouche. DONE !!

以前、お友達のお子さんが3歳になっても指しゃぶりをしていて、入園前に辞めさせたいとドクターサムを使用し、3週間くらいで指しゃぶりがなくなったと言っていました。 その話を妹にすると1歳半の甥っ子にも試したいというのでSサイズをプレゼントしました。 年齢的に指しゃぶりはまだ気にしなくて良いのではとも思いましたが、歯並びへの影響を気にしているのですすめてみました。 甥っ子は予想通り装着をイヤがって最初は大変でしたが、今は諦めてきているようです。説明書にも書いてありましたが親の協力が必要不可欠だと思いました。妹は、イヤがる甥っ子に「すご～い！かっこいいね～！」とおだてながらやっています（笑） 因みに、アマゾンではいろんなお店が出品していますが、日本正規販売店で「日本の食品検査法に則った品質安全検査を実施している」と書いてあった なないろガーデンさんから購入しました。(並行輸入とか、海外から直送とか、検査していない商品だったら怖いので)

Mi hijo tiene un claro vicio de chuparse el dedo gordo de su mano izquierda. Y únicamente ese dedo. Con este protector, es cierto que mientras lo viene puesto, no puede meterse el dedo en la boca. Bien porque le resulta desagradable o bien porque le resulta incómodo. Lo cierto es que el material a pesar de parecer muy resistente, finalmente mi hijo ha conseguido rajarlo sin saber cómo. Pero no tengo otra alternativa, así que me toca pasar de nuevo por caja... Os dejo una folto para que veáis por donde se ha roto.
