Great Product, Feeling Nostalgic!
Don't forget to purchase the micro sd card as I did! has some built in memory, but a memory card is a must! great to be able to add effects (vignetting and exposure compensation) as well as selective colour/monochrome etc. and see the exact photograph before committing to pressing that print button! You can even search by frame when taking up to 15 sec video, and then choose the best image to print or just to dave on the memory card for post processing. I'd say the image prints are roughly 3/4 the size of the original polaroids from the 70s and 80s, Images look fantastic when taken using the black colour frame film for a more, moody look and feel and look great with monochrome images. Have yet to try with the white frame film. Camera picks up fingerprints easily, suggest purchase a case and microfibre cloth separately as I have. Film readily available to purchase on here, roughly works out to a pound an image for the black frame film (pack of 10) and 85pence per image for the double pack of 10 exposure white frame film

Very pleased with this camera
Lately I decided that I wanted to buy an instant camera so I did a very good research before I buy the instax sq20. So, this instax camera is a hybrid camera which means that you can take a photo but is not printed instantly (unless you choose to), and therefore you can navigate through the photos you ve taken via the LCD screen and select the one you want to print. I believe the main reason I decided to buy a hybrid camera is because I wanted to have the choice of printing the photos I wanted without spending film with dark or bad photos. I am not a professional photographer so for me this was a must. It is a digital camera of I think 3.8Mp which means that the quality of the photos are not the best, but you notice it only when you see them on the computer. I have it for almost two weeks now and I am super excited with my purchase! The photos are amazing and you don't really notice the 3.8mp on the small square frames. If you play a bit with the options regarding the lighting, exposure, zoom, filters etc I am sure you are going to find the best combination of features you need in order to print a very nice and memorable pic. I was quite frustrated that this was not included in the top lists of the best instax cameras but probably this happened because it would't be fair to compare a hybrid to a pure instant camera! Another thing I liked about this camera was the square film which comparing to the mini ones works better for me! I would totally recommend this camera 📸 😊

Easy to use. Don’t need to waste film
The best feature of this camera is that, unlike some instant cameras which print out each picture taken immediately, the picture can be viewed before printing. As film is relatively expensive, this is a great benefit. Also the ability to print from other cameras via a micro sim (not included), is also a benefit. Should note, however, that printing from another source is quite fiddly even if following the picture naming instructions in the manual. The camera does not like portrait pictures - format should be either square or landscape. Comparing the quality of a picture printed from the camera, taken with the camera with one taken on an iPhone, iPhone (or other smart phone) camera wins hands down. The camera’s lens / resolution should be much better or at least as good as a smartphone.

Good camera, and the main feature is amazing (money saver)
When the instal first came out, I got the retro one (non professional model) and I wasted probably about 50 films because it’s a slight chance you get a good photo out of it, because you don’t get the option if you want to print it or not, that feature has saved me so much, and you don’t waste money on blank films. But I’m not a fan of the design of the camera, not the style I like, I would’ve prefer a retro kind of look to it. But for the feature I’d say it’s worth it.

The camera, is easy to load and very portable. Also very nice looking!
This is a very nice piece of kit! It has a really good menu, with lots of options to choose from. I really like the LCD screen, which my Instax mini doesn't have. Also, the instruction manual, is much better, than on the mini. I am unable to comment, on the picture quality and functionality, at this time, as I am still wading through all the options available.

Great concept, poor execution
Conceptually I was really excited about this camera. I mean how many duff shots have I wasted on Polaroid and if you are on The new Polaroid film it’s not a cheap affair. So when I saw instax had a square format Polaroid with zoom that you could preview on screen before committing to print, I couldn’t hit ‘Buy’ quick enough. The cameras itself is nice in terms of weight and how it feels in the hand, but it is let down by 2 key things. The lens, is basically non existent. I mean there is one but to me it looks like a small hole. Thee is no glass lens. it takes pictures ok so it must be a mobile phone lens or similar. This may not bother many people but it bugs me, just looks cheap. The zoom must be digital, which again serves the purpose but feels and looks cheap. The second disappointment is the screen, it’s low res and small, image quality is poor on screen making it pretty much impossible to apply any of the in camera effects and get reliable results. I love the concept of this camera but I feel it fails in execution. I would pay more for something that had a bigger more accurate screen a decent lens and optical zoom.

Best Polaroid camera
Best decision ever made. Picture quality is good and it has in-built storage, so that we don't need a sd card unless we are not taking too many pics. It has different options to edit, crop n so on. I think its the best among all the Polaroid cameras.

Memories in print form
I absolutely adore this camera, bought it after not one but two SD cards failed on me and lost countless pictures of my family and friends, unlike years ago...no one prints off photos anymore, so I decided this year that was going to change. I adore the fact I can delete photos I've taken where someone has blinked etc and it doesn't waste the film like previous instax models. I love how I can even edit prints and add a time stamp. I hardly ever use my phone now, I instinctively grab my instax =) oh it also films movies as short burst of stills, so I've even been able to catch action shots of the kids playing sports. I love it.
