Very good book on nontraditional Santa Fe cooking
I recently bought and tested 7 NM cookbooks. I live in Los Alamos and Santa Fe years ago and a trip there got be started. This was the best of the nontraditional NM books. If you want to cook food similar to the best Santa Fe restaurants, this is the book.If your looking for something more traditional buy The Feast of Santa Fe: Cooking of the American Southwest .For a more Mex-Tex style try El Paso Chile Company's Texas Border Cookbook

My Favorite Cook Book!
I bought this cookbook for my sister because it is my favorite. I have been cooking from it for a very long time. The recipes are easy to follow and ingredients easy to find. This is not Mexican food, it is Southwest. When in Santa Fe be sure to visit the Santa Fe Cooking School. They have a great shop along with cooking classes.

Love the book, unhappy with the Kindle version
I have the cookbook in hardcopy. I love the recipes and the cooking school. It was one of the few books I considered getting a duplicate of in Kindle format. However, I was disappointed when I did. The layout in the Kindle version was not usable as a cookbook. Recipes were all disjointed. Stick with the hardcopy.

Great Combo of TexMex and Traditional Hispanic Food
Good food! Lots of recipes and idea starters. Well written with large font recipes in order for the cook to see and...well, cook! Some require a lot of preparation while others are quickly put together after a long day at work.

Took the Classes LOVE the Book
I took classes at the school. I found this later on Amazon and purchased it. It is an excellent cook book and I have made several dishes from the recipes.
