Garden of LifeAll-In-One Shake Vanilla 969g

I've tried lots of brands of shake powder but this was always the one I went back to. I don't bother trying other ones any more! Fantastic consistent quality. Delicious in almond milk.

I love it, it’s really tasty and I felt better after taking it. I take it instead of breakfast, when I have high anxiety I can’t eat and this helps a lot. My body feels stronger somehow, I used to feel very weak. The taste is slightly grainy than other protein powders but I don’t mind.

I've bought Garden of Life products for years until the price went so high and the company changed a couple of years ago. However, I purchased this vanilla flavour again in good faith. The tubs come wrapped in a thin plastic covering which seals the whole tub and goes over the screw top lid -but - when I tore off the plastic cover and opened the lid, I noticed the paper and foil seal below the lid that seals the powder into the plastic tub had a strange dent on one side, the paper seal was discoloured and brownish looking on the edge, a bit like a water damp stain would look, and it had pulled away / lifted from the tub, breaking the seal and there was a clear gap of about 5 cms. I tasted a bit of the powder and it doesn't taste vanilla at all - it tastes like toffee or butterscotch. I am too spooked to use the product now and don't feel that I trust it's not been tampered with or damaged in production or even the contents have been removed and replaced with something else. I don't know how this issue could arise in manufacturing and then someone has still screwed the lid over the top of the damaged seal and then it's gone on to be shrink wrapped with the outer plastic but that is exactly what's happened. I'm too scared to use the product, going to bin it, won't buy again from this company now.

High quality ingredients - Great product, but a bit pricey

I wanted a meal supplement which had as many vitamins and other natural goodies in as possible. It had to be organic [obvious why] and RAW [to maintain optimum nutrition] and plant based i.e. minimal chemical stuff. My original supplement which was out of this world, Zenbu, like this one, came from the States.. It is now discontinued. This is ACE. Check the ingredients..In the case of something like this more ingredients and more natural ingredients are better.. I love the taste of the Zenbu, so this had something to live up to. I chose vanilla cos it appeared cheaper than chocolate.I feel safe with this around. I tend to eat fairly healthily, mostly organic [certainly nothing other than well cared for and organic meat] and plenty of veggies, but sometimes I want to eat a baguette or white bread or something that tastes great but doesn't do much.The Zenbu had mushroom complex, this does not and NO other product that I researched did either. So I bought powdered lions mane and reishi [already had them] and also Purple Powder [also available from Amazon], and added it to the mix. I like to give myself every chance here!The BEST thing about this, is whilst people are out there buying up and hoarding tins of baked beans and fruit cocktail in case of 'virus isolation' (we are currently at the start of a Coronavirus issue,) I know that were I not able to get to the shops I can get all the nutrition I need from one or two scoops... Fabulous wa to diet as well.. One shake in place of one meal.I'm in my late 60's and was a full on raw foodie for several years. I have reverted back to normal, more plant but some 'good meat' healthy eating.. so I felt I was missing something as I do have my doubts about the amount of vitamins left in food after it travels miles..

Some reviews say its powdery and to be fair it is, but then they all are. The best way to drink it is melt the powder in 100ml of boiling water and then add 150ml of almond milk. Throw in a banana and some frozen berries and then its actually pretty nice. Its filling as a meal replacement, low calorie and high in protein as well as all natural so for that I reckon you cant beat it. Be nice if it was cheaper though!!!

I only purchase this shake when it's on offer. I first bought this a few years ago. I absolutely love it but it's so expensive. If it was cheaper I would make a regular purchase. It's Christmas so I thought I'd treat myself.

I don't know what all these negative reviews are all about. When it comes to the flavour, which is one of the big concerns for me, a lot of the reviews are saying it tastes like dirt. What kind of dirt are you tasting?? This stuff tastes pretty good! At least the vanilla does I haven't tried the chocolate yet. The first couple of times I thought 'this has a vanilla taste to it' after that I realized that it tastes quite a bit like pancake mix, which if you've ever dipped a finger in pancake mix and tasted it, it tastes pretty good. Other than that, unless the ingredients list is a lie, then this stuff is great. I listened to a lot of reviews before I bought this stuff and a number of people put more water in than what the directions instruct, I did the same and its ok, a little watered down in my opinion, but if you do put more in then it can get a little gritty and thick, but what do you expect it's a nutritional powder.5 out of 5 stars for me because the price compared to A LOT of stuff out there is really good, the nutritional list is great, and I personally like the pancake mix flavor, but other people might not, so flavor is 4 out of 5. I highly recommend this stuff and I'm going to try the other flavors afterward.After trying it a few more times, it tastes A LOT better with some oat milk. So I recommend people drink this with soy, almond, oat, cashew, coconut, etc. milk. The water makes it taste a lot more bland than the milk.

I am pleasantly surprised that this shake has 1g of sugar, it tastes great. Not too sweet, just the right amount of sweetness. There was a slight chalky texture, but I let the mixture ( 250 ml unsweetened cashew milk, 1 scoop powder) sit for a few minutes and the chalkiness was mostly gone. Not a huge issue for me.If you want to minimize the sweetness just adjust by adding more unsweetened liquid.

I hated this when I first bought it. It was gritty and tasted weird compared to whey protein. I thought I had wasted my money until I was able to make this stuff taste amazing! If you find this product gritty or too thick, here is the trick: mix 1 scoop with WARM water and stir it well, I use about 1/3 c water per scoop. The texture should resemble pudding. Let it sit for a minute or 2 and then mix into your smoothie or shake. Pre-soaking and mixing this protein was a game changer! It blends super smooth after doing this and now I LOVE this protein. I tried having some whey not long ago and I couldn't stand how it tasted compared to this.Don't over do it with this protein though, the prebiotics and fiber are very high and having more than 1 of these per day could have an unintentional *ahem* cleansing effect. Amazing product though!I use the chocolate and vanilla versions of this (and even mix them sometimes). Great stuff!

Tastes really bad. I tried it in almond milk, soy milk, and milk. Even made a full blown smoothie to add to it. The taste overwhelms anything it's adding to.Not sure if I can refund it now that it's open. But if I can't, the remainder will be going straight to the trash.

I actually can tolerate this protein powder so that’s a plus for me! Will re order for sure! Great taste ✔️
