Gripe Water, 4 Ounce

I raised all 3 of my kids with this product. I recommend this to all new moms. It's all natural and soothes babies tommies right away. My babies never really had collic, but this just helped them release gas so much faster and easier. It tastes great so you'll have no problem getting the baby to take it. Although I have not tried the other natural gripe waters, I have tried the homeopathic Cocyntal for baby colic. This did absolutely nothing for my child, so I ordered this gripe water again. I can not say enough great things about this product.

We will be going back to Wellements Gripe Water and not even finish this bottle. Everything about it is different - the coloring, taste, consistency (it seems oily), and almost the worst of all is the dropper is horrible! It seems to "stick" so even using 2 hands to carefully put it in your child's mouth results in squirting it either on your baby or on yourself. And the liquid stays in the very tip of the dropper even after dispensing the entire dropper. Somedays, I have to use gripe water 2 or 3 times during the day so I don't clean it after every use. With this dropper, I do because there is always some that stays in there. Not mention how much of a waste it is to not be able to get it all out in your child's mouth. Beyond that, my baby doesn't like the taste of this one at all so it dribbles out her mouth and is staining her clothes. I don't think it works as well as Wellements either for gas pain. I seem to be using it more frequently.

It's funny because gripe water has only "worked" on our third and most colicky baby. We've had great success with Mommy's Bliss but since Amazon pricing fluctuates so rapidly, when it came time to place my Subscribe and Save order this one was clearly a better deal so I decided to try it. Of course if possible I try everything my baby consumes so I tasted it. Tastes 100% just like sugar water AND requires refrigeration. When I try Mommy's Bliss, while it is definitely still sweet, I do taste the ginger and fennel a lot more. On top of that it doesn't require refrigeration and my baby seems to prefer it more as well so I'm returning to it with the hopes Amazon's pricing of it improves. So while I believe gripe water and brands are really hit and miss and depend on each individual baby, I felt compelled to throw my personal review of this one in the mix - it's not a homerun for us.

Fast shipping, good price and I like the fact that it is a paraben free product however my daughter puked it all so I can really review its effect.

This stuff helps calm my screaming baby and soothe her tummy if she has gas. I give it to my daughter if we are taking a long drive or going out at times to keep her calm too. It also helps her fall asleep. Currently my baby is 8 months old & we have been using this gripe water for about 3-4 months. It's a God send. However, the night time 'Gental Care' brand formula does not work on my daughter, but the night time 'Mommy's Bliss' brand does.

It's all natural so I am not putting harmful chemicals in my sons body. We give him the recommended dose and within minutes he is letting out lots of gas giving him relief right away. Highly recommended for gas.....a must buy, and to top it off the price is great

My biggest concern about this gripe water is why it's SO sweet??? By sweet I mean it's too sweet even for me, and I am an adult. Looked like my exclusively breastfed son had a shock after I gave it to him. He used to literally drink the Wellements gripe water which I liked a lot too, the Gentle Care stuff is getting spit right away. I would give them a credit, it does work(only if I can make him take it). Never finished a bottle, never buying it again!

I must have tried this when my daughter was too old. At 11 months we were taking her on a flight and I thought this might help to calm her - She did great on the flight, but we did NOT use this. We tried it at home before we were in need on an air plane and there was nothing different about our daughter after taking it so we skipped it. We tried during the day and at nap time and nothing changed.
