Great reference
Very interesting for a warlock. I'm more into shamanism than witchcraft but find it fascinating. This is a great reference book and I recommend it. Good to have as a resource on general shamanism / witchcraft

If you want to deepen your shamanic roots, start here.
This is one of the best books on spirituality I have ever read. I enjoyed it, cover to cover. If you've read the Temple series from Christopher Penczak you know what a very bright, well informed and easy read he is. This book continues on in that vein. It is a very in-depth look at the shamanic roots of European witchcraft and it's a concept that speaks to me personally. You will walk away from this book educated on various shamanic practices from around the globe and throughout time, and it's influence on modern Wicca/witchcraft. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Excellent.
I have never before seen such a complete collection of shamanic based magicks all in one place, and I dedicate my life to researching magicks. This author clearly knows what he's doing and for once that's a good thing. What a relief compared to some of the other books I've been researching with. It is so hard to find decent books now a days that are reliable and trust worthy.

Okay, but nothing spectacular.
I bought this book with the hope of expanding my knowledge of shamanic practices, however I was thoroughly disappointed when I began reading. A lot of what he says in the book is very basic metaphysical and occult knowledge. There is very little about actual shamanic practices and what there is is incredibly vague. I wouldn't say this book was Wicca 101, but it was definitely Wicca 102, and seeing as I'm not even a Wiccan it was kind of a waste of 18 dollars. If you're just starting out and if you're okay with reading a poorly organized mesh of many different cultures then go ahead and get this book, but as for me, I'm looking for something a little more advanced.

The Temple of Shamanic Witchcraft: Shadows, Spirits, and the Healing Journey
This was the first time I have ever read Christopher Penczak, and I am thoroughly impressed. The book is very well written, and the research, history, and experiences shared by the author make it a very well-rounded book. This is the first book I have read from the series, so I definitely plan to read more from this author, and I would recommend this book as a library must for everyone. Well done Christopher Penczak!!

Path of the Shaman
I am a 'Christopherian', following Chris' Temple of Witchcraft Tradition. I thought this book would be far less interesting than the previous two, Inner and Outer Temple of Witchcraft. I was VERY wrong. This was by far the best of the three, and I look forward to the Temple of High Witchcraft. You really need to read them in order, but if you have ITOW and OTOW, you really should get this and the next two as well.

I've studied both witchcraft and shamanism for many years. This is a very nice intro to shamanism tailored for those already versed in witchcraft, showing how they compliment and can be integrated, as well as how witchcraft is basically the descendant of European shamanisms.

Audio Books
I wish the author would have audio books too for an option. I have a difficulty time reading, I do use a reader however I like to collect books and follow along with the audio. I get sick of listening to fake robot voices. Its more personal when a real live voice reads to me, its more special.

Shamanic Witchcraft

Nothing really not covered in inner temple
I love c penczak but this is not on my must read books, he is neopagan so shamans prob wont like it as much, his book on reiki or high magick was better.
