Snaps secure tightly; it would take a lot to get them loose. Elastic is strong around the waist, but the thighs tend to ride up while wearing. A little too much give in the elastic attached to the clasps; might be why the thighs ride up. Adjusting strap doesn't stay tight; loosens while being worn. I have to constantly adjust them every chance I get. Overall, a lot better product than other options, but still has room for improvement
