Defective right out of Box
The Cut OFF voltage was 11.85V not 10.8 V ( for 12v battery) I used Fluke meter and two different 12v light bulb 5W and 3W for testing the result was the same, right when the voltage of battery drop to 11.85V the load get disconnected, I bought the unit to supply power to Security Camera in conjunction with 12V 7A battery supply. Return the unit back to Amazon.Spec said the Cut OFF voltage is 10.8* Volt and reconnected at 11.8V

Not reliable
The first unit I got was part of a gate opener kit bought elsewhere and it didn't work out of the box. I thought that I might have done something wrong while hooking it up, so I just bought a replacement off Amazon instead of pursuing a refund. Low and behold the new one worked. For about two and a half weeks.

for the price, these things are terrific. they auto cut off if the load brings the battery down further than it should be. nice feature.
