The device works perfectly with both Linux and Windows. ...
The device works perfectly with both Linux and Windows. In linux I had to download the driver from github page and compile and install it.With windows I had to do nothing, although it may vary for other users. The package comes with a CD containing the required drivers for Windows/Linux/Mac.It has been a month since I have been using it and so far it is running smoothly without any hiccups. The antenna provided gives a significant boost to the signal strength.

Bogus product - don't buy. I want a refund.
I ordered a LEO-HGAC600 WiFi adapter from Amazon on 28 December 2017. It was delivered on 31 December 2017.Although the product description on Amazon states clearly that the product can be used with a Windows 10 OS, the driver for the adapter I received is not compatible with Windows 10. I further went to the official Downloads page of Leoxsys and downloaded the LEO-HGAC600N Win 10 driver, but this too would not complete autorun on my computer because it does not support Win 10 OS.I then wrote to the Leoxsys Technical Support Team on 20 January 2018 describing my problem. They sent me a link to a driver that they said would work, except that it didn't work. In fact, the problem is not just that the device won't work. When the USB WiFi adapter was inserted into my PC, my system crashed twice in the space of 5 minutes. I attach photos of the error messages I received on my computer. The error messages stopped when I unplugged the adapter. In short, the product is totally useless, and the technical support I have so far received has been of no help whatsoever. I would like to return it and claim a full refund.

Ideal for Dual band 90Mbps + speed Routers/ Ethernet
Make sure your Ethernet speed is close to 100 MBps ( ACT Incredible Connection) . Also make sure your Router is capable of transmitting up to 100 MBps dual band speed.2.4 GHz band has a lower speed (50 MBps) but longer range.5 GHz band is of shorter range but higher speed ( close to 80 MBps).Make sure you are synced to both bands and that your PC or devices switches bands automatically. In case you feel that the Hi Gain aerial might get in the way , it can be unscrewed without affecting performance significantly. Please note that the maximum Ethernet speed for homes ( to my knowledge) is around 100 MBps .There is also another "AC" WiFi Standard Leoxsys Adapter variant available without the Hi Gain aerial. And most importantly , after installing appropriate driver software from Leoxsys website , disable your built in network adapter.Speaking from personal experience ,make sure to have a quad core or higher processor with a minimum of 2 GB RAM for Win10.I haven't tried this adapter with mobiles or Android devices with OTG capability.Works fine with Windows PC though.

Not as I expected software and look
First of all it's having rtl8811CU chipset for window users it's not a problem. For Linux user it requires to compile drivers and yes it's dual band and working in Linux 5GHz as well 2.4 GHz.And yes it's supports monitor mod and probably package injunction as well (yet to test).Search for drivers you will find git hub repo of source codeProduct does not looks like show in product picture.

Setting the expectations right...
Every once in a while, there comes a moment in your life when the woman you have always wanted is a hair's breadth away, waiting to be made yours. Fate tempts you you to make the plunge into the icy depths of love that numb your senses, take away all pain, and make you immortal (even if it is by freezing you to death).Amidst the rush of these temptations, depradations, and desires, there is this tiny voice of reason. No so much struggling to be heard, but there looking at you from the street corner of sanity, mumbling to itself, smiling to itself, smug in the knowledge of how exactly it is going to turn out when you finally come to your senses and break the surface gasping for breath and wondering from the epicentre of that piercing pins and needle pain of ice cold water of love wondering what in the profane name of four-letter words were you thinking when you jumped in.The experience wih this one is analogous. This is a sub-1000 rupee device that gives you access to 5Ghz networks. If you are expecting to work this across 20 feet with two in the way, you are kidding yourself. In exactly that situation, the network transfer speeds were at 4MBps (roughly 32mbps). If you want to transfer GBs of data over wireless networks super fast, this probably isn't the best price bracket to look for.How this one would achieve 54MBps (433mbps) over a 5ghz network is something I would love to learn. When I do, I can also claim to have unravelled the secret of true eternal love. Now that you have been enlightened, you may thank me and set your expectations right and buy this one. It works as it is supposed to (for the price), and if you are willing to make a few compromises (and look the other way when things go astray sometimes), the relationship will serve you well.

Don't waste your time if you're looking for a packet injection support.
Bad build quality, no driver support for linux forgot about moniter mode and packet injection, it have Realtek rtl8811cu chipsetWhich is not supported on most of the Linux distros. I wasted my whole day trying to install drivers didn't work also cd provided is outdated you will get errors in make step which explains the undefined and ambiguous shell calls are used and then it will not install,Used git repository dkms method nothing seems to work on any of Linux distro not even on Ubuntu. so returned the product. My advice if you don't want to waste your time don't even think about it.Reviews that states Monitor mode supportAre for old model which used to had rlt8812au chip on it.It doesn't have same chip anymore again its rlt8811cu stay away.

Used for a year now, awesome product
It has been more than a year using this product, and an honest review of the same will be that the product is awesome, just getting it installed after loosing the driver CD is a pickle.

Not suitable for 5ghz band.
Will only work in 5ghz if the router is located within 3 meters of the antanne and without any walls between them.Don't buy if your main concern is 5ghz connection as it has disastrously bad reception.
