REEFCushion Phantom Men's Flip Flop, Ultra Soft Cushion Footbed

I live in Waikiki. Which means a couple of things. I walk a lot, and I never wear shoes. There are few things more important to me than a good pair of slippahs. The number of other ones I've tried are an embarrassment to admit. They include Olokai, Sanuk, Cobian, Teva, Nike, Skechers, Hurley, Rainbow, and Scott. I suppose everyone's feet are different, and even other models of Reefs have been only marginally acceptable.But the Cushion Phantom by Reef is hands down the best. I can walk for miles in these, and they are as comfortable as a pair of walking shoes.A couple of things: when I get them, I take a razor blade and remove the little decorative tag they put on the strap. What genius thought of putting that there? It causes a rub mark, or if I walk far enough, a blister. Dumb.Also, if I'm headed to the ocean, these stay home, squishy soles and water are a bad combination.I wear a size 13, and size 13 in these are a tiny bit too big, but the 12's are a tiny bit too small. I'll take the 13's any day. They have just a little arch support, which fit my feet like a glove.The straps on the tan and brown ones are softer than the other colors, but the platform is slightly firmer.

Have been wearing this Reef Cushion Phantom model (pictured) daily for about three years. The white marks in the photos are reflections. You can notice some expected wear, but still going strong! Soft without losing foot or arch support and a long-lasting sole. Very comfortable. I wear a 10 Wide (EE) on a normal street shoe (44 EU) and wear a 9 (42 EU) on these flip flops. My heel is at the back of the flip flop without extra material showing behind my heel, which I like. This color - tan thongs (the straps on top of foot) - with brown soles is softer and more pliable than my brown thongs and my black thongs of the same brand and model. The tan thongs (straps) are a material (seem like a very heavy cotton material, but may be leather) with a padded liner beneath (that makes contact with the top of my foot); whereas the brown and black thong tops appear to be leather (definitely thicker and stiffer than the tan) with a padded liner beneath. While I wear all three pairs regularly, for me, the tan pair is most comfortable. The bottom of the sole (that makes contact with the pavement) is a patterned and excellent wearing sole (see photo after three years of wear) that is stable on most wet and smooth concrete. I live at the beach and do not baby these flips flops. I wear them often onto the sand, into the salt water, and come back with mud caked and ground in from walking. They hold up well and don't stretch or blow out. After a coarse rinse and drying time it's just like they were the day before. Great for casual wear complementing swimwear, shorts, khaki pants, and jeans. I just bought a backup pair in tan and hope Reef will continue making this model (Cushion Phantom). Summary: You can't go wrong with tan, brown, or black. Highly recommend without reservation!

My husband usually gets the reef sandal that has the bottle opener on the bottom. I switched him up, and got these ones for him. I was hoping they would be more cushy and comfy. He’s on his feet all day for work.so these are nice on the weekend. At first he wanted the old ones back…..but after a few days, he’s in love with these! He said….okay, they’re super comfy!!! Lol

Arrived as scheduled, just as described, purchased to replace my old set that had a blow out, had to limp on back home. Very satisfied with my order. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again when needed.

I was using another brand of flip flops for the past 10 years or so and when that pie finally started breaking apart decided to try something new. These are excellent. Super comfortable and they don’t feel flimsy like many other brands.

These sandals were very comfy, both on the bottom of the foot and heel, and on the top where the straps go over the foot. Seems Reef has added an extra padded layer, like a gel almost, on top of the old Rover model which makes it more comfortable. That extra layer under the heel makes it feel much more 'squishy' and shock absorbing than the plain Rover. We'll see how they hold up to daily wear.

This is my 2nd pair of Reef flip flops but this pair does not have the cushion nor the comfort of my previous pair. If you are looking for ultra comfort in a flip flop, this is not the one, however, these are still more comfortable than most flip flops I've had in the past.

My hubby has feet like baseball mitts. Lol!!! So it’s really hard to find a flip flop that fits well, based off the strap placement. These are great for him. I’ve brought them in brown before and now black

Disappointed. I’ve had Reefs in the past and they’ve been on the money. Sadly these fall far from the mark.After 1 week of mooching around a French campsite the sole has started to split, the cushion sole is so squishy it compresses to nothing and is porous so the slightest hint of water and you’ll be squelching for a week. Not only that the insoles have discoloured so they don’t match - ok left and rights are probably made in different batches but all this demonstrates very poor build and quality control.There’s a lot of choice for holiday mooching shoes and at this price point I expect more than a seasons wear.

These flip flops are a bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for. Comfy, durable and good looking. If, like me, you can’t stand the rubber toe pieces, the material used in these Reefs is way more comfy.FYI, I’m a UK 9.5 so tend to buy 10 in trainers. Same with the reefs. They fit well.

I find these unbelievably comfortable. I suffer badly from plantar fasciitis and these Reefs are like heaven. Have always worn reef thick ones but this soft rubber is next level. A bit slippery on the feet to start with but the trade off is worth it and they soon bed in. The marshmallow rubber also compresses nicely to form what I consider almost perfect arch support but the rubber could be just a liiiitle thicker. I will be sticking with these for years to come. Thanks reef, I cant believe I never found these sooner!

First time using the amazon wardrobe. Very impressed. Got 5 pairs of flip flops, one of the pairs was the comfiest, sent the rest back. The pair i kept are by far the comfiest flip flops I've ever owned. It's like I'm walking on clouds! Highly recommend. I will definitely be buying reef sandals when these die. Everyone should own a pair of flip flops this comfy :)

Brought these for my holiday, with a sketchers pair, but these are the most comfiest iv ever had, I need a good pair as I broke my ankle a few years ago, and it swells really bad, but these sandals were ace, felt like walking on a pair of cushions, brilliant
