This Is A Beautiful Quena Flute!
This wood on this flute is finished. It's about 15 inches long. It has six holes in the front and one small hole in the back for the thumb. The circumference is about one inch. There are four larger holes and two smaller holes in the front. The mouth piece cut out is lined up with the six holes. I checked the key of the flute. It starts at G above middle C and it goes up to three octaves. The lowest note is G natural when my embouchure is correct. Yes, I blew the flute the same day. It has a really nice tone. I like it because it sounds similar to a concert flute. I am allergic to the metal used to construct concert flutes. This flute is the answer to my horrible allergy. This light weight flute is easy to carry around. I intend to use sheet music written for the violin since the lowest string on the violin is a G string. This is going to be a wonderful adventure! I LOVE it! I will have to purchase a cloth bag and a fingering chart. For now, I will use the fingering charts I have found online. They show how to finger up to three octaves. There are lots of lessons on Youtube. Enjoy your Quena flute. I'm having lots of fun with it!.

I'm a little disappointed that I can't find any south american music to play. I'm not sure what key this is in. However it is a beautiful instrument, it does play a scale. Just wish I could find some tutorials on the thing.

Great build quality, amazing sound!
I love this flute. I was a little wary of buying this from an unknown vendor, but the flute quality is amazing, and I love the sound.
