useful garen book
It was well oranized by size. It needs to be updated to reflect changes in names and classifications of some plants.

A must have for desert dwellers
I borrowed this from the library and was so impressed I had to order a copy for my own library. The plants are laid out really well by height and by flowering season. I highly recommend this book when you're searching for just the right shrub for a given area. The only downside is there are no photos; the plants are shown as drawings.

Love how this is organized
I found this book at the library and decided I needed to order it for myself. The main part of the pages are divided into 1/3 pages, with information about height, color, blooming season, and lots of other informatiion about each plant. You can almost design a garden just flipping around the pages of this book! I love it!

Wonderful book
What a great book for planning a coordinated area. It's too hot in Arizona to plant right now, but I'm hoping to do it in October, and will use this wonderful book to choose the plants and shrubs.

I like the lay out of the book
What she has is informative, but the scope of flowers is limited. I like the lay out of the book, arranged by sizes (height} of plants.

Poor Illustrations
No photots and the illustrations often do not even look like the plants. Wanted something to determine the name and info about the plants I saw and wanted to include in our area, but it is useless for that. No way to search for a plant.

Put to good use
The book came on time as indicated. I am taking a Master Gardner's class and recently used the book at a Design Charrette. Fun to use.
