Mr. Rogers: Young Friend and Neighbor (Childhood of Famous Americans)

I loved the way the series tells about history in the most fun way and the illustrations (which are beautiful by the way) help visualize what it was like.I would recommend this book to anyone over eight years old.It was amazing and my daughter will be re-reading this over and over again.

I used this book for a unit on biographies and the kids really enjoyed hearing about Mr. Rogers!

The recipient is a huge fan of Mr. Rogers and she found this informative and very interesting. She is an adult but volunteers at a library and has many young relatives, so I thought she would enjoy reading it to younger folks.This is a great series and this is one of the better-written and more interesting books.

This is a great series. My kids and I both love it! It is often hard to find stories of the childhood of Fred Rogers, but this book definitely has them! It gives a fuller context and meaning to the lift and work of Fred Rogers as an adult. A must read!

love this man and love this book and I also love the man who WROTE this book--George Edward Stanley--a wonderful writer who has written hundreds of books! As a kid, I always loved Mr. Rogers so I was thrilled to find this bio....

The book arrived promptly and in the condition which was stated as either good or very good. Glad to get it and have it to read to my grandson!
