PU Leather Plague Doctor Mask, Halloween Costume Bird Death Mask

This mask was flat when it arrived so I used the packaging it came in and stuffed it down inside the mask to make it more comfortable. I ended up having to use a hard plastic bottle to shape the tip of the mask so she could breathe. It did fog up in the eye holes when she was trick or treating, but I think and adult would have dealt with it better than a 10 yr old did. (It was hard to breath and to see) The material is a soft/pliable fake leather and it was comfortable to wear. It was not too thick or thin. The head piece was adjustable to be pretty small so it was functional for her to use. It did not have a bad smell.

was looking for a cool mask for a plague doctor costume and hadn't had much luck finding a nice one I liked, but I found this and thought it looked ok and it had good reviews so I got it. it came in good condition, although it was flat, but that is very easy to fix by just shoving some paper towels in the end. after wearing it a couple times it was somewhat adjusted to my face and was comfortable to wear. it looks great from afar and up close, great false leather materiel. I was very surprised with the quality, based on the price. its pretty easy to adjust, it was a bit to big for my head but its easy to add new holes. honesty just a great purchase. definitely would recommend for a good quality mask.

I'm not at all disappointed in this product. It's well-crafted and though it's clearly not genuine leather, it still looks good, even up close. The straps are adjustable so it's able to comfortably fit even my over-sized head. The lenses are tinted so it's difficult (not impossible) to see the wearer's face from the outside, but it's still easy for the wearer to see. In terms of quality of vision, there are two possible points of concern. First, the lenses will fog up a bit while you're wearing it. I didn't find this to be excessive, so it shouldn't be a problem for most people. I did not, however, try it in cold weather, which might make the fog a bit worse. Secondly, you will likely not be able to wear glasses under this mask. When I tried, I was technically able to make them fit, but the mask pushed them into my face in a rather uncomfortable manner. If you need corrective lenses and plan to wear this, you should plan on using contact lenses instead. The mask ships flat and does like to collapse even while you're wearing it. This isn't a problem; however. Just stuff it with some tissue paper until it retains its proper shape. It will still fit just fine and it'll look exactly the way you want it to. Ultimately, while I've seen higher quality plague doctor masks made of genuine leather on the market, this one is almost as good as those, and costs only a fraction of the price. Unless you're looking for a professional-quality hand-crafted costume piece, this is going to be the best value for your money.

Great masks. They smell like leather but if you just leave them out for a bit, it isn't too bad. Quality looks nice and comfortable to wear. Semi easy to breathe in them, but the eyes fog up really fast. To eliminate fogging, I heated up a small nail and pushed it through the bottom of the plastic, making a little hole for ventilation.

The mask is pretty good looking. But it definitely has its flaws. It takes awhile to get the smell out of it when it firsts arrives. Smelled lowkey like fish. In order to keep the beak part up or straight, you have to stuff something down it. It's a bit hard to see because the lens constantly fog up when you breath. The mask slightly muffles your voice, but it's not that big of a deal.

This mask is awesome. We won a costume contest on Halloween!! The slit at the bottom allows for a straw, which made it perfect. My husband didn't have to remove his mask to sip his drink!!

I ordered 2 of these, one for a friend, to finish off our Steampunk Plague doctor wardrobes. The quality was much better than I expected for the price. I followed the instructions in Product Details to open up the beak, and it has been perfect. Even with glasses on under it, no fogging. The beak's vents do a great job. My only issue is, the top strap does not adjust, so I wear a knit cap to help snug it up, but this is a very minor thing. Great looking and totally worth the price. 🐺👍

It’s great value wise but the lenses I got, ones harder to see out of that the other. So my vision is funny. It’s light so it’s not uncomfortable. I have a hard time seeing out of one eye as one eye lense is darker than the other. It smells like leather, but it’s ready to get used to. To puff your beak up, I suggest paper towels
