Product works pretty well, but...
These work pretty well, and do what they are designed to do, which is keep the wound moist to promote healing and prevent bandages or other coverings from sticking and reopening the wound as it heals. They don't adhere - there is no adhesive or anything on these, so you're reliant on the bandage to hold them in place. As a result, they can be a little tricky to apply, but you figure it out.Biggest problem is the shipper: if they felt like putting these in a Tyvek envelope or box before shipping, you'll get your order. If they were lazy and slapped on a label and shipped them in this flimsy blue and white product box, there is virtually no chance they will survive the journey. We got a destroyed, heavily taped back together box with only 4 packs left in it instead of 36.Then you get the joy of doing all the stupid human tricks to get a refund, and you'll have to reorder. Allow time...Update, several days later: Still no refund that I can see, despite the promises.

Just the thing for a burn victim
Milady brushed against a hot burner and lit her gauzy jacket afire. (Dropping and rolling on the kitchen carpet was a winning response, so kudos to her!)The second-degree burns up her arm required two weeks of bandaging and wrapping: the first layer of bandage was an antibiotic cream; next came this "greased" mesh which protected the skin very well. Two weeks later, she's healed without scars (although some tenderness remains). At the Urgent Care site they use a smaller (3x3inch) version of these 3x8 strips. Those might be fine for a more localized injury, but these 3x8's were perfect for her.The third layer was the Telfa 3x4 pads - we would've preferred a 3x8 size. Then gauze bandage/wrap over all. Hope you don't need all this!

faster heal-time = less scarring
This product is awesome. I took a tumble down a mini-rocky mountain and got gnarly road-rash on my leg. It wasn't until a visit to the hospital to get checked out, that I learned about this product. They used Oil Emulsion strips when dressing my leg and I'm so glad I asked what it was because I came home and bought these. I used the strips, changing them out daily (with stacked gauze on top, then wrapped with stretchy, self-adhering ace-wrap) until my leg healed and I swear it sped up the heal-time, essentially reducing the potential for severe scarring. I'm not a doctor, and I can only speak to my personal experience, but if you're on the fence with this product to use as a dressing (certainly read the instructions), I highly recommend it.

As advertised
I was ordering this specific product to bandage wounds on a family member. This is the brand that was being used in the hospital and I wanted to continue use of the same product. I received what I thought I was ordering, which is great.

This product works wonderful
The wife had three large open wound on her right leg. The each for draining and needed something so the drainage pads did not stick . These are absolutely wonderful for large small or any sort of drainage issues. The nurse believes this product is helping to speed the healing process.

Ouch, that hurt
Bought these when I took off 6 inches of my shin skin. 24 stitches to close the wound. This product allowed me to cover the wound without having it get stuck into the skin. No pain to remove.
