Best book ever on paddling and hiking.

I bought the book to learn more about my favorite paddling destination. I haven't had a lot of time to read lately, but this seems like a nice book. Maybe not quite as detailed as I was looking for.

This book has been helpful on several of our Georgian Bay kayak trips.

As we are planning our trip to the Georgian Bay this years automn this book helped us a lot find out what to see and how to get there. It is absolutely well described and the maps and picutres are great and very helpful.

Georgian Bay has some of the finest fresh water paddling and sailing in the world.It is home to the 30,000 Islands which provide a lot of the attraction.The count is a loose estimate. Some claim it is closer to 50,000.It turns on what you consider an island.This book provides a series of trips on and near Georgian Bay that cover most regions.Some are multi-day excursions and others just day outings.Lots of good suggestions of places to visit.
