I have a 15 month old, 70+ pound Bluetick Coonhound who is a big puller on walks. I am constantly having to pull him back to try to stop him from pulling me off of my feet; not to mention the pain I get in my arms from this struggle.I put this collar on him yesterday and it was like I was walking him in a dream! Minimal pulling because the collar tightens on his neck, he realized quickly that he was hurting himself. One of my best purchases ever on Amazon. Thank you Max & Neo. Absolutely the best! I have a very large (150+lb) mastiff who’s head and neck are the same width so she could slip out of a flat collar no problem. She walks great on a leash but again could slip out if she chose to be stubborn. This 100% works great with her and she can’t slip out should she get scared! Absolutely buy a martingale if you are thinking about it.

This collar is awesome it is thick and well made it fits my puppy Saint Bernard very well and I'm pretty sure once he is fully grown it with adjustments will work for him then. The orange color is great. My boy is a puller when he sees someone he knows or a creature of any sort and so far it has held up nicely.

I did not know what a martingdale collar was until I stumbled upon Max and Neo collars through the rescue I volunteer for, since they graciously donated them - now I can’t put a dog in anything but Max & Neo martingdale collars. They really keep your dog securelove the three handle leash too). The locking feature, the D-ring for the leash to attach and the secure spot for a tag are special features, but the best feature is that the dogs can’t slip the collar. Keep up the great work.I have fostered 13 dogs and always send my dogs home with this martingdale collar!

This medium collar not only is a perfect fit for my but it's built even better than I expected. I wanted a martingale collar for my "neck and head are the same size" boxer dog. This collar has a snap latch vs. buckle. The latch is very sturdy and comes with a lock feature. And thank you Max and Neo for donating a collar with every purchase!

Works perfectly for training with no choking and no throat damage

This collar is both high quality and effective. The reflectors works great and even if your dog is a puller or a tugger this collar will ensure they are not able to slip the leash.

This collar does not pull her hair and is much more comfortable than any she has had before

After looking for a martingale collar with a buckle for a while, I thought I had struck gold finding the Max and Neo collar on Amazon and ordered two, one each for the two dogs. However, my luck changed for the worst when one (out of the 2 ordered at the same time) were delivered.Not only did both collars not come at the same time, which has never happened before but the collar is way too thin and may as well be a cat collar. I understand they can’t be as wide as a normal collar for a very large dog but just because they’re small doesn’t mean they need very thin cat collars. Alongside this, the measurements are way off and a good inch smaller than their other collars which are the same size! I am more than disappointed with my order and am now stuck with a useless collar that will end up being donated as the return fee will be too high to post it back to Amazon global and another one which I hope will be cancelled but may just end up with 2 useless collars and the loss of cash I spent on these.

I needed a utilitarian black collar to use with decorative bow-tie collars but while this was my immediate choice (I have 2 similar make collars: red & pink), the blue Max & Neo logo and white stitchings were a distraction competing with the bow-tie decoration. I was hoping the black disappears to enhance the decoration.As this is only my preference I award 4⭐️ for the reliability of this collar: the snap-buckle has a sliding lock so it’s secure in case of accidental release (I’ve yet to see another like this) and the martingale collar is always loose on the neck until tightened.

Collar fits a little on the big side but works great. Only issue is it came with a aper saying a free gift, I have yet to recieve this gift they speak of.

Lovely product, lovely company.I buy new ones every year just to support the company, but not necessary as they are durable and work great everyday.Simple and works!

It broke after just a few weeks. for 30 bucks? I have a pet smart brand that's on it's second dog. About 11 years old. but at least it broke with in the 30 day period.
