I purchased this case in March, so I've had it a little more than five months now. Off the top of my head, I've dropped my phone twice - once on carpet and once on concrete - and its still scratch/crack free. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the case.Its easy enough to hold. I do have my own Popsocket attached which gives it some help, but the material isn't glossy or slippery.As I mentioned, I've dropped my phone while using this case (likely more than twice, but I can only recall the two times). That being said, I don't believe I'm particularly rough on my phone. I have older cases that were cheaper than this one and the majority look almost new.The rose gold color is heavily chipped and scratched on the back and sides, and the dark/clear ring around the perimeter in the front is where its completely rubbed off. This is very noticeable when the case is on and looks like a dirty blackish ring around my phone. I'm not sure how that happened since I rarely take the case off, but I'm guessing the chips and scratches are from being in my purse with keys and whatever else.I'll also mention that this came with replacements for the top and bottom bumper, which was nice as they're both fairly easy to break. I broke one putting the case on the first time. The other cracked after I dropped my phone.Now, this has felt like I'm writing a negative review but really this case has been a rider. Aside from the cosmetic issues, its held up well. It protects my phone and has yet to fall apart. The buttons are easy to use, and the case is pretty easy to get on and off. It was also really cute when I first got it, even though its slightly more rose gold than gold (to match my phone). It lines up perfectly with my charger port, speakers, camera, and the apple logo on the back.TL;DR - Its an ok phone case for the price. Not great, but ok. I'd probably continue using it if it was still pretty and I wasn't so vain, but its not and I am so ya know...

I haven’t had this case for long but I can report that it I beautiful! I bought a Love handle to use with it because my arthritic hands have a problem with gripping. It offers moderate protection which is fine for me. I’m very easy on phones. My favorite thing is the sound quality! I play music frequently on my phone and I believe this case actually enhances the sound! It came with extra pieces for both ends. The contrasting gold tone with the rose gold case I chose really stands out. I’m not sure if the extra pieces are there because sometimes they break or come off or what. They are not included with the list of package contents. Mine came assembled and I only had to slip my phone inside.

When this case for my new iPhone arrived, I found it even more beautiful than the photos showed. It snapped on easily, and I particularly liked the "bumpers" on the corners that protect the phone. BUT, charging it is a challenge because the lower band holds the tiny plug juuuust far enough outside the receptacle on the phone to prevent full contact, requiring that the band be removed. This is not a huge problem at the moment, but it is inconvenient and, over the long term, means that the band(s) will eventually fail from the removal/replacement wear every time the phone must be charged. (Perhaps this is why there are two extra metal bands enclosed with the case?) Otherwise, I'm delighted with the design and beautiful gold buttons and trim bands. Perhaps if the designers could go back to the drawing board and make a larger insertion hole for the plug , it would be perfect.(Update) I've upgraded this case to 5 stars after noticing that the "porthole" in the lower band is slightly off-center. I flipped it so that the narrower margin is at the top, rather than the bottom and the power plug slipped in easily.

The clips on the top and the bottom broke very easily, it comes with an extra clip for the top and the bottom but again they break very easily, i broke my second one putting it on the case. The magnet is very strong

this case is so pretty, it also feels durable but in given time it will eventually wear off like all other cases do. i can't stop looking at it, so very beautiful. the pictures dont do it justice.

This IS MY MISTAKE and not a reflection on the seller nor the quality of this product. Due to magnet inside of the case, my plate charger would not charge the phone. Just beware this may happen. It was MY ERROR. I did end up ripping out the magnet which solved the problem with charging.

Love this case so far! I’ve only had it for a few weeks but I’m really happy with it so far. It looks super sleek and the lip is big enough to protect from drops. Two replacement gold pieces were included in the event they get scratched, which is great. I’m also able to fit a magnet (super thin) so I can mount it in my car.

Got this phone case for my 13 year old daughter for her iPhone 8. The fit is perfect and the gold pieces shown come already attached. It also came with extra gold accents just in case. All buttons and ports are easy to access and the color is a nice deep black.
