ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY
Do not buy- I rode these for 5 rides about 7 miles each- I am 195 lbs and ride fairly hard- both pedals bent the same day and bearings were terrible to begin with. May work for a kids bike but CANNOT withstand adult use.

Just OK
I really wanted to like these pedals more. I bought them looking for more grip for my shoes than stock pedals, and they do provide that. However, they are at best OK quality. Fairly heavy, painted, not anodized, and bearings are rough despite lubricating. One of the pedals is not 'true' and you can feel it is elliptical rotation when riding. Are they better than the plastic stock pedals on my Trek 820? Debatable. I would not recommend these for anything but a child's bike. I have a better set of pedals on order. Should have just coughed up the $26 in the first place. Oh well, sometimes you really do get what you paid for.

Picture is not an accurate depiction of actual product.
Complete let down once I opened the box. From the description when ordering these pedals, I thought they would fit the bill on what I was looking for. Like they say you get what you pay for. I definitely got a $11 set of pedals. These pedals look like a DIY project in a garage on the weekend drinking with your buddies. The metal is unfinished with jagged edges, paint looks like it was just dipped in bucket of black paint like chocolate strawberries. I guess I should have expected this, they were only $11. If your looking for a nice set of pedals, these are not them. Will be returning them as fast as Amazon Prime delivered them.

rough bearings, generally crude
bearings are so poor a flick of the finger on them won't produce more than two rotations. Easy to feel roughness turning them by hand.brightly painted crude casting with poor bearings.

Do you Like Slip and Slides?
If you like to slip and slide all over your pedals and hope you don't fall off then these are the pedals for you. They are coated in a rich gloss paint that is crazy good at maintaining zero grip regard less what shoes you where. But if your looking for a cheap styling points to impress your fellow riders with out the need for actual product functionality, then your in luck. Heck, I ordered these for a dirt jumper just to match the color scheme. I gotta say, they look real good on the bike on the stand, just no actual function when it comes to the need of the bike. Don't be like me and buy cheap pedals, order some with replaceable spikes and enjoy your ride.

Bent- Didn't last
I struck the pedal fairly lightly while pedaling through a corner. The center boss is now bent. This is causing an undulating feeling in the pedal and will likely wear a hole in the sole of my shoe. Granted I hit the street but it's better than bending the crank arm!

Broke within 3 months, put me in danger
These are garbage. I bought these just under 3 months ago and replaced the broken stock pedals my bike had. Not only are these fat more slippery than you would think, they are supremely cheep. I bike about once a week, meaning that it only took about 12 rides for these things to break. The left pedal broke when I was pedaling downhill on a countryside highway. I was lucky an outlet was nearby because I would’ve been run over otherwise. My pedal was run over before I could pick it up, that’s why the picture shows it absolutely shattered. Upon closed inspection, my other pedal is bent and will probably break soon. These are not worth your money, or your life.

You get what you pay for.
These pedals are cheap. They are cast pedals that look like they're demo pieces for when to throw tooling away there is flash all over and the casting just looks terrible. Then they're coated in a thick layer of paint or powder coat that was chipping away when I opened the box. Also, the bearings, do these actually have any? Honestly I'm not sure I'll keep these on very long. I don't think I should be surprised as they were very cheap but I wish I'd spent a little more money.
